“Do not touch this mob with a barge pole. They took money from my mothers bank account without authorisation five days after she died. THEY ARE ROBBING THE DEAD.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED”
“Scammers took 18.50 a month from 93 year old for nothing. Customer service is rude. Do not give your card details to buy anything from these people. Fraudsters. Preying on the vulnerable”
“I had bought something from Easylife once and this month I received 2 letters from a Pioneer Offers Club saying they had started me on a trial of 2 products totalling over £100 a month and after the trail they would then take the money from my bank account. How did they get my bank details, I wondered having never heard of them before. I called this club, asked where they got my bank details from. They told me Easylife passed them on. I contacted Trading Standards who told me to contact Data Protection which I have done. Easylife sold my bank details without my knowledge. It is illegal to do this. Beware of this company .”
“They are taking money out of account WITHOUT our permission, they still send a catalogue inspite of us requesting for them to stop sending them....goodness only knows what else. .We are appalled by their behaviour”
“DON'T buy ANYTHING from EasyLife!
If you do, you'll be signed up for subscriptions to "Clubs" you don't want or need and it's a pain to get through and cancel them. Just DON'T do it!”
“Absolute scam I have phoned multiple times asking to take my elderly grand mother off of whatever you have subscribed her to. 4 times I was told they cancelled only to see they continued to take THOUSANDS of pounds from her”
“Easylife kent, have been taking £18.50 a month out of my fathers account for a catalogue! I phoned them up in March 2024 to enquire about this and asked for it to be cancelled and wanted confrimation, sorry we dont send out letters but was assured it was cancelled .
Only to get a bank statement july2024 to find easylife kent had taken again £18.50 ,so I phoned them again told they couldnt send confirmation of cancellation so was given an email address ,so wait and see if I get a reply back .”
“Do not have anything to do with this company. I have found out that my elderly mother has had money taken for a subscription magazine she knew nothing about or even received. I spoke with them today and was shocked at the abusive tone of their staff and their lack of competence to work in a call centre. I will be taking this further it is disgusting that a company can scam elderly people out of their money”
“This company has been scamming my mother (she is 92!) by taking small amounts from her account over the last 2 months. Finally came to a head today when Tesco refused her card!! Thankfully her bank had noticed weird charges and put a stop on it! I don't know HOW they got my mum's debit card details but its now STOPPED. Beware this company.
Customer service operator tried to get more information out of me and then when I refused, he "transferred" me to someone else and I was cut off. Operator didn't sound local!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY”
“Avoid Easylife. The company are scammers. I have had two payments debited from my credit card in two days for a so called Rewards Scheme I never signed up too. AVOID”
“I experienced numerous unsuccessful withdrawal attempts over the course of several months. Despite reaching out to customer support multiple times through email, I did not receive any replies. Upon discovering that I had fallen victim to a scam and lost my funds, I felt anxious. Thankfully, A M D A R K L i M I T E D * C0M assisted me in reclaiming my investment from the scammers.”
“Total scam.
Do not have any dealings with this company. One item bought which was returned for a refund. Then they
stole money from my mothers account on a regular basis, for a so called subscription she had no knowledge of.
How are these peope allowed to still operate?”
“Do not deal with this company. I have shared the same experience as mentioned below and am furious that my details, including credit card, have been shared with other unscrupulous companies.
When you purchase online with Easylife, the (very) small print states that by providing your details you are allowing Easylife to share with various associated companies. I consider this extremely underhand way of operating.”
“These people are filth.
I was sorting out my recently deceased father's bank statements and noticed a weekly debit of £18.50 from Easylife, for absolutely no apparent reason other than the privilege of receiving their catalogue.
Easylife prey on the elderly and vulnerable; avoid like the plague.”
