“SCAMMERS !!! They call vulnerable pensioners and convince them that they have a wonder cure for all of their ailments. Before you know it they've scammed them of hundreds of pounds. Contacted the bank fraud line to stop the payments thankfully but they just move on to the next victim. Despicable company. Reporting them to Trading Standards.”
“As I read in other reviews it seems you buy something from this company and then it seems like a piece of tape stuck to your fingers you just can’t shake them off .
A call every few months well over a year from my purchase . Don’t say who they are at first , Well-being nonsense , I ask is that Easylife , yes !
Stop annoying me for gods sake . I can see how elderly foke get entangled in this .”
“If I could give them no stars I would. They are a scam. Disgusting company preying on the elderly population.
Parents made one purchase and ever since they have been called and without their understanding signed up for a rewards club. Unbeknown to them money taken out of their account. It happened several times. Although I have made many phone calls and emails they still cleverly reinstate the membership.
I have called bank to stop payments and are in the process of trying to recoup the money. Bank thought it was disgusting .
Absolutely dreadful. Stay well away !”
“Easylife is a scam. My father bought an item from them for £10 and they took £69 from his account. They are now sending him packs of collagen - he's is 78. Keep away from them and don't give them access to your accounts.”
“Don't get involved with this company. I was called and told about their Rewards Club, and they said that they would send me a welcome pack. This arrived a couple of weeks later. I read the details and then decided that it seemed a bit fishy, so I emailed them and asked them to cancel my membership, which they subsequently emailed to confirm the cancellation.
Looking at my banking information a week later, I was disturbed to find that three separate transactions for £65.60, £81.45 and £77.00 had been made against my account. I called Easylife and managed to get the number of the promotions department and asked why these transactions had been made even though I had received their confirmation of cancellation. Fortunately I was able to get them to issue refunds to my bank account, which should be seen within the next 3 to 5 days. I shall be keeping an eye on this to make sure that it is done. Steer clear of this company.”
“dad doesn't have an account they fleeced him out of money for some crappy membership scan 18 months ago - it was cancelled and re-occurring payments removed - hey presto they have robbed him again. they need shooting they really do . reported to bank”
“Absolute rob-dogs. Just realised they have been taking money from my credit card for at least 3 months. Wish I had seen these reviews before I bought anything from them!”
“Still scamming people dispite being heavily fined. Easylife took unauthorised payments from my parents bank account after "signing them up" for a reward scheme they have no re ollection of. Check out the hundreds of complaints on line. Avoid this company like the plague.”
“Bedspread is very thin, doesn't come with the matching pillowcases as the add implies, female staff member very arrogant and very rude when questioning where the pillow cases were. Won't buy anything else from Easy life!”
“Appalling experience. I was invited to join the gardening club of Easylife; but I was sent no wecome pack so presumed i wasn't a member, but then looking at my bank statement I discovered they had taken nearly £200 in 4 months using my visa card.
Thank goodness, i was able to cancel the whole sorry thing and claim my money back. This is a warning to other customers who might be negligent about checking their bank statements after dealings with Easylife!”
“Ordered two spray bottles one missing nozzle. Was told you can use one from other bottle !!. Also sounds petty but says free colouring book with every order. Ordered lots over period of time never received any book. Want my name taking off mailing list.”
“They sent a used, dirty, second hand product, and customer service is uninterested in resolving the issue. If you email them FROM YOUR ACCOUNT EMAIL, they will fob you off with excuses about not being able to talk because of data protection laws, and offer inane solutions like "If you have Power of Attorney, please could you send evidence of this to us by email or letter." Ridiculous. This company is a scam.”
“Very disappointed with the level of service.Tried to place an order yesterday and I had to tell the operator what the items where! and what the price was!Didn't tell me if the items were in stock or free delivery.Took my card details and when I asked had it gone through his reply was we'll phone you!! I've phoned today and nothing has been ordered.Absolute joke.I've cancelled a previous order that they again told me they would phone me.I won't be ordering again from easy life.”
“This company prey on old vulnerable people and take money from their accounts without their knowledge.
Sister in law was caught by this and even after her death this company continued to take money from her account despite being advised of her demise until we stopped her bank account.
We asked them to explain the charges that ranged from £18.50 to nearly £80. Originally no reply but when pushed their answer was that the account had been anonymized and so no details could be given.
This company is run by crooks who take advantage of the elderly and vulnerable.
I will be pursuing this further with them once i get probate granted.
Re the response from easylife below, this just goes to show their total lack of interest in my review, full of generalities but no apology or attempt to correct the issues I have raised. The facts are they conned an elderly and vulnerable lady out of money. When advised of her death they still continued to take money from her bank account!!!!
How low can they get?
They have also refused to explain what the money was taken for.
Further robust action against these liars and shysters will be taken as soon as probate has been granted.
This company is run by con artists, please please do not give them any card details.
Date of experience: 03 March 2023”
“Easylife group. Having obtained a refund last year for a (motor?) subscription that I never agreed to (£69), I see they've just charged me £29.99 for something else, who know for what? How are they allowed to get away with this? I swore I'd never buy from them again and I haven't. I suppose I'll have to be on the phone for ages again tomorrow, trying to sort it out.”
“I made a simple purchase Autumn 2022. Now in Jan 23 they've taken more money from my credit card. They insist I agreed to join their Rewards Club which is chargeable. NO I DID NOT. I never spoke to them about this. Liars and thieves. Detestable practice, aimed primarily at the elderly. Everyone who works at Easylife, whatever their role, should be ashamed every time they go in to work. They all must know about this disgusting practice.”
“I give a minus 5 rating...BEWARE everyone of this horrendous evil manipulate Company. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM. This company took hundreds out of my parent's accounts over several years without them knowing...I managed to get refunded 12 months worth only from the bank but god knows how much more had been taken and over how many years...the amounts were similar to everyone else's so presume it was the fraudulent subscriptions. This Company needs shutting down....I would do it if I knew how...”
“Refund for promotion still not paid following £24.99 being taken from account on the 23rd December. This is the second time Easylife have debited our account, first time for £77. Don’t touch this company they are fraudsters.”
“Please don’t order from this company for once they have your card details they just keep taking Money from your acc on a regular basis 69.90 twice from mine this last year and when you phone up to enquire no help it’s like talking to the wall ,and nowhere on the website where you can cancel your acc”
