“When my daughter gave me my Christmas present, imagine the joyful anticipation, as I took off the wrapper, turning to joyless disappointment to find the `Jewelled solar LED Light-Up windmill' was dis-functional. The fourth extension rod, that is the swivel device, had a female fitting when it should have been a male fitting. As we all know two females cannot be joined together. So I was left with a piece of junk metal! I was too embarrassed to tell my daughter she had given me a scrap metal present. However when she asked where it was, I had to confess. So you need to send me a windmill that works or a swivel rod with a male fitting or refund my daughter. The Account number is 8722996, the order date is12 Nov 2022, the order number is OR14545898.”
“Easy life has been taking £18:50 from my elderly mother account every month for over a year and she has no recollection of joining anything. Criminal!”
“WARNING Avoid this Company
Same thing happened to my elderly parents.Made a small purchase and then we have just noticed that they have made regular withdrawals from their bank account.Seems they prey on the old and vulnerable.Once they have your Bank details they help themselves.”
“Were taking £18.50 from my mother's card 4-weekly to start with then took 2 payments on consecutive weeks. I emailed 3 times to cancel and rang in the end. No joy so I have cancelled her debit card.”
“Beware - once they have your card or account details they will help themselves!
Mum phoned Easylife at the end of last year to buy some socks which she paid for by credit card. Then discovered this year that various other monies had been charged by them to her credit card over a number of months. She eventually got the money back but surely this is fraudulent! Hundreds of similar accounts on this and other review sites. And in many online press articles. How are they able to trade? They have this month - October 2022 - been fined for their data profiling activities and for calling people registered with the Telephone Preference Service. Now they need to also be held to account for taking money without proper consent. Stealing.”
“Avoid this awful company. Trying to cancel a reward scheme for a deceased person is a joke. Also getting a refund for a returned item is also a joke. Never been treated like this before would not recemmend”
“Had a bad experience. Ordered an item and then received a phone call and I was persuaded to subscribe to Book Club. Received free offer of books but decided to contact Easylife to cancel subscription which they promised to do. They then sent more books and kept taking money from my bank. After many phone calls, emails and letters finally got my money back. However, they keep sending me unwanted and unsolicited mail despite my asking them to stop and take my address off their database. Do not deal with this company they are rip off merchants and break every single promise. They will take your money but fight you tooth and nail before you receive any refund. Many people probably give up before receiving refund. A shameful and unethical way to do business.”
“Easylife pass your details to a company that very forcefully tryù to make you subscribe to a benefit company on the basis of receiving a £50 asda voucher. I've been receiving phonecalls over a 2 year period and fed up of it now.”
“I telephoned easylife on two occasions today and was unable to communicate with them. Unfortunately they do not speak English so I was unable to place my order. But on reading the negative reviews I am thankful that they were unable to communicate and so I will definitively not be dealing with this company.”
“I will not be using Easy Life ever again over charged me ,then one month later took
£18.50 not authorised payment for a club subscription I did not agree to.”
“Crooks thief’s and vagabonds that’s how you describe this sham of a company
Hoodwinked a ninety year old to disclose bank details and then helped themselves to her pension called them several times but used every excuse to avoid a resolution shame on you all that work here don’t disclose or buy any product from this company

“Purchased item for an elderly person, she then received a phone call, I ended up with monthly subscriptions taken from my credit card and they only spoke to the elderly person and not to me who paid for the item, this is a terrible and Greg Caplan has some explaining to do, as Easylife claim this is a third party activity, but who is sending them my credit card details”
“There needs a victims of easy life theft creating on a social media platform to unite against the criminal & fraudulent acts this bent company seem to think is acceptable!
They're constantly taking money from elderly & in our case thieving money from our Dad AFTER HE WAS DECREASED..
Claiming dad had agreed to something 10 days after he having passed away?
Easy life are plain & simply fraudulently stealing, taking money dishonestly & there has to be an ombudsmen or regulatory bodies that can & should investigate the severe amount of theft from vulnerable elderly people..
We have cancelled phoned & so many times explained & all the employees do is continue to knowingly take ££ dishonestly & without any consideration as the impact upon the lives they're destroying because of these THEFTS..”
“Absolutely disgusting company stealing off the elderly. Since my dad's passing I have found out that this shameless company had taken £192 without my dads knowledge from his credit card. Fortunately m&s has now managed to recoup the money. PLEASE CAN
SOMEBODY TELL ME WHY THE GOVERNMENT ARE ALLOWING THIS TO HAPPEN? I SHALL BE WRITING TO THEM TO TRY AND PUT A STOP TO THIS TO HELP ANY MORE VULNERABLE PEOPLE SUFFER ANY STRESS AND HARDSHIP.”
“Absolute disgusting company, can't believe they are still operating. Stealing off the elderly, my mum purchased afew Garden items and the company took it upon themselves to enroll her into a Motorclub without her knowledge or consent (no letters, emails).
Money has been debited out of her account every month since 2021 and they refuse to pay her back. We won't stop contacting you untill my mum's money is FULLY refunded. Bunch of scammers, suprised how you can even sleep at night. Legal action will definitely be taken if the money is not refunded. I will be contacting the Trading Standards.”
“Same as everyone else , years ago I bought a garden item but am inundated with phone calls re a reward scheme that I do no want. However after such a phone call at probably an inconvenient time - I see that 23.99 has been deducted from my credit card account! Thakfully I check regularly. I have now had to make several phone calls to ask for this to be refunded so we will wait and see if it happens.”
