never again willing to take your money at 10p per minute but will not answer e mails as previous custermer goods arrived after canceling

If you have any blades for the strimmer could you send them to me !!! Have requested eckman to sell them to me .WILL NOT Help me. Will pay postal charges and make small donation to a charity of your choice. Don't bother buying new goods from this company. Please help if you can . Rachel. Rachandsade@gmail.com

I wish I had read the reviews before wasting my time ordering from this company, call themselves Garden EXPERTS( ha ha) all they are experts in is taking your money and keeping the goods. Item ordered on 7/07/15 nothing appeared from then to now ,paid on the day of ordering with express delivery (again ha ha) several phone calls later (costing approx. £20) still no goods. Have finally managed to obtain a refund, ironically received the goods a week after cancelling the order. Seems the left hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing never mind the right. Never deal with this firm, absolute rubbish!!!!!!!

Think twice about purchasing a long reach hedge trimmer myself and two friends all had them round about the same time we've all had the batteries fail two had to wait 3months for replacement. My battery has gone after little use could theses batteries be inferior!!!!!! I wouldn't recommend this firm either.

I purchased a telescopic hedge trimmer recently. When I tried to put it together I noticed the extending pole was very short. I phoned Eckman and eventually spoke to someone who said they would get the item replaced. A month later I am still waiting. I do not recommend this company.

Why oh Why didn't I read these reviews before purchasing an item from this company. This company is a complete shambles, they take your money but do not send the goods when you finally contact the customer service dept you are fobbed off with "its in packing dept" "its out of stock" "a new one is being sent to you" etc etc . I have been waiting 3 months for a garden strimmer and today 13/08/2015 I have cancelled the order and demanded my money back, their customer services dept stated it would take up to 5 working days for the money to be reinstated but I do not trust them at all. My advice to people thinking of using this company is DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS COMPANY.

Placed an order and paid by credit card. Was advised 7-10 days delivery. After waiting for over 10 days tried calling eckman to ask when I could expect the item. It took me nearly 4.5 hours to speak to someone who advised they only take orders, they transferred me to a ringing telephone, I held on for 47 mins but no one bothered to answer the phone! After two more days I finally got through to the ideal home show shop where the order had been placed originally, who apologised and informed me that eckman had cancelled the order and should have informed me and refunded me in full! I have requested my credit card company demand the money back. I will never ever use eckman or the ideal home show shop again! If they cannot deal with office basics then I wouldn't trust their tools in the slightest! Beware!

Cancelled item as was promised in 10 days but now changed to 40 days. Cancelled 2 wreks ago yet still waiting for money back

Contacted them for some new plastic blades for my strimmer, they can't or wont help. It is a shame as I do like my light weight battery strimmer. Looked on here to May be get some idea of whot is happening and found it full of such bad reports. Eckman you have for some reason alianated all of your customers ,destroying there trust.

Ordered a 3-1 battery mower, paid the extra for express 1 day delivery but 4 days and nothing!!!! Rang the customer service line, over an hour and no answer. Tried again took 30 minutes still no answer. Rang the odere line, and they can do nothing......... Starting a dispute with the Bank, as credit card was cleared. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING, WASTE OF SPACE, COWBOY COMPANY....DO NOT BUY ANTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE, YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF AND LOSE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I had seen these comments before ordering a 3 in 1 mower.My cheque was cashed 14 July but the parcel only arrived 31 July but missing several parts.I arranged for it to be collected Thursday 6th august but no carrier turned up.After 2 attempts to contact their office today - the first I abandoned after 30 minutes - told they could not understand why a no show and have now given a date of 12th August.I have now decided to get my money back and wonder when this will arrive! Appalling service, I will not be using them.R J King

Been waiting 3 weeks now for delivery, still no sign of it. Rung customer services, they couldn't give a damn. Appalling service. They are a cowboy outfit, avoid at all costs!!!

Need replacement part for 2stroke hedgetrimmer. Been informed that Eckmann have gone bust and no spare parts available for Eckmann. so 2 years ago bought a disposable petrol hedgetrimmer. Also very difficult to get anyone to service the engine. Cheap is not best. avoid at all costs

I ordered the hedge trimmer 2in1 plus grass trimmer and 1m extension pole, paid for next day delivery. 2 days later it had not arrived, when I phoned customer services they said it had not been dispatched so I cancelled the order and they said they were giving me a full refund that day. 3 days later I phoned customer services again as no money back in my account, again told they would do it immediately. The next day I phoned back was hung up on, had to speak to 2 more people when finally a manager told me they had now dispatched the item, no record of my cancelled order and that it will turn up at some point this week and I have to be at home to refuse the delivery and will not get my money back for another couple of weeks!!!!!! They want to charge me for delivery even though they sent it out not only after I cancelled the order but after 2 calls to complain and ask for a refund! I never received and email from them confirming my order, the delivery or in response to an email I sent to customer services (with a 24 hours guarantee of a reply) This is the worst company I have ever dealt with, the customer services staff are rude and unhelpful DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

Just had THE poorest customer service experience. I have their 2-stroke backpach and wanted to buy the grass trimmer attachment. They show it as part of their 4-in-1 kit but wont sell me the attachment separately. The CS guy was very unhelpful and told even if I spoke to the bosses it would make any difference. Solution: spend my money with another company.

Reference to my last review, after many emails and phone calls. I spoke to a lovely lady today,who promised to refund money to my paypal account today,and guess what she was true to her word money has now been paid back into my account, just wish I could have spoken to her earlier. Having said this I would never use this firm again and advise any one else not to order from them not unless they want a nervous breakdown!!!!!!!! H

Disgraceful customer service, lied to that a spare part was being sent to me, then lied to again that my product would be collected as faulty, waited for delivery all day , they never showed up, my advice do not use this shoddy company

Bought Eckman Petrol Backpack Multi Function System - Model KM0408436 spark plug was broken on delivery. Replaced spark plug but absolute pig to start and only managed to start twice in 2 years. Carbuerettor needs new diapraghm but no spare parts available, considering what to do next.
