I am totally disgusted with Eckman! On 23rd January, I ordered Telescopic Chainsaw & Hedge Trimmer. The Hedge Trimmer arrived but not the Chain Saw. As everyone says, trying to get in touch with them is impossible!! They don't answer my phone calls and they have not replied to my 10 + emails. I think trading standards should look into how this two bit company is run and I would advise anybody not to trade with them I personally would not even award them 1 star!

Unfortunately, I placed an order for an Eckman Elite 2.4kW 'In-Line' Electric Chainsaw on 27th January 2016, before I read this review. Unfortunately, I also paid for Express Delivery at £7.99, for which Eckman's website advises "delivery within approximately one working day". Like several reviewers on this site, I immediately received a email notifying that the order has been received, with limited information and nothing whatsoever regarding delivery. Based on a next day delivery (following acceptance of the order), I had somebody waiting in the house for the delivery, which surprisingly, did not arrive. I then sent a sent an email Eckman asking for information on delivery, which is not unreasonable. To date, I have received no response whatsoever, however, they have sent me to emails; one advising that I retrieve a 25% discount on any items from their website, then seconds later, a further advising 30% discount. Clearly, sales matter and customer service does not. My reason for writing this review so quickly, is to warn others, principally on the additional fees charged for one day delivery which has not happened, and secondly, I suspect I will encounter similar issues to every other reviewer on this site. However, I will give Eckman one further day to respond (Monday, 1 February 2016), then I will be looking at obtaining a full refund. Alternatively, if I do receive an appropriate response, or receive the product but the product then fails to meet expectations (based entirely on the description within Eckman's website for the product), I will then pass the matter over to my wife, who works for Trading Standards. I will provide her with the details of this website also, which I think TS will find most interesting. In the meantime, I will give Eckman's a chance, but if they fail in any respect whatsoever, I will pursue them to the full extent of the law, and regardless of failure or success, provide an updated review on this site for others. I ordered online goods on 10/08/16 and paid. I received advice that, on 12/08/16 they had despatched the goods, The goods had not arrived by 30/08/16 so I phoned. Their ".call centre." could not give me any information - the goods were allegedly held up in their warehouse due to "shipment problems" My research identifies a company run by disqualified (bankrupt) directors . It takes your money up front for goods, fails to deliver, promises refunds and uses the £multi-million cash for offshore scams, dodgy deals or drug imports. It deserves in-depth investigation by HMRC tax and Police fraud teams, as it should not be an online fraud.

These people are just not up to it! An email everyday in December with offers and when you do order, they take about a week to dispatch. What's more, when you enquire with customer services, they are barely civil! To top it all the carrier lost the goods........ Stick to Amazon, they know about customer service.

Good looking website. Absolutely dreadful service. Ordered a fork & trowel set on 16.12.15 (Ekcman advertising delivery for Xmas on anything ordered by 21st. One order confirmation email back then nothing at all. Emailed on 24th to ask what was going on. No reply. Tried to call several times but no ansaphone, just a BT(?) message saying "this number is unavailable". Sent second email to cancel the order. Still no reply by 29th so rang again. Was told that the item I ordered wasn't actually in stock when I ordered! No apology offered. The girl on the phone said that an email confirming it had been cancelled had been sent. I said nothing recieved and asked her to send it again (as yet still no email!). Timescale on refund? Huffily advised they will process it in a couple of days time. A company to avoid. Completely.

Unfortunately this is the first time and my last time that I will be ordering from this company, as I have to say that I am deeply disappointed with them! When their leaflet came through my letterbox, I had never heard of this company, and although slightly sceptical, the plants seemed really nice, so I went against my instincts, and ordered some pansies on the 7th December. At the time of writing this review on the 6th January I still had not received them! There was no tracking facility available so I could not track the package, and when I called to try to get to the bottom of it, I couldn't get through for about half an hour. Therefore as a result I decided to cancel my order, and I will not be ordering from them again. I wished that I had done my homework beforehand and read the other reviews before placing the order! Please don't get caught out the way I did!

Bad experience. Emails not answered - It is imposs. to get on phone. From 0900 they say there is a queue of .more than five waiting - THIS NEVER CHANGES!!! How are companies like this allowed to exist, absolutely disgraceful.. Ordered a tool sharpener in May - only about £9 so will put it down to experience as others have said .

Ordered two items 2nd February, finally arrived 10th July!!!! Had to phone customer services twice which costs a fortune. Sent several emails, I did get a response telling me they had already emailed me but it must have gone in my spam folder. Actually no it didn't because I checked my spam folder every day in the hope I would hear from them! Never use this company again. If I hadn't kept chasing I doubt I would have ever received goods.

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered a Lightweight telescopic expanding pole hedge trimmer, which is shown being used by a female, and thought that's just what I need. HOW WRONG I WAS. DO NOT BE FOOLED. I paid extra for next day delivery, it took 3 working days. Immediately I took the top section to compare with my neighbours, who's hedge trimmer I have always considered heavy. The so called lightweight trimmer was substantially heavier. I then looked on the website and it turned out to be the same weight as normal hedge trimmers. Shown being used be big strong men. This is a CON. I immediately telephone and asked for a return pickup and refund. I had to pay a further £10 for a courier pickup, which the so called customer services said could not be for 7 working days. So I waited and in the meantime went onto the Eckman website, were it says "Be the first to post a review". I tried to post an honest review, regarding the weight, and top heaviness of the item. 3 TIMES. No reviews of mine, have appeared on the website. It still says "be the first to post a review. After the item was picked up by courier, 7 working days later, I again telephoned customer services to ask when my refund would be in the bank. I was informed that it takes 7 working days for the item to get back to them. I DO NOT LIVE IN CHINA. I could of driven there in 4-5 hours. I again asked when I would receive my refund, yet again another 7 working days after they receive the item. That is 28 days from requesting a return and refund, to hopefully receiving my refund. In this day and age 28 days for a refund is unacceptable. I have e-mailed the CEO of the company and have had no response. The item I ordered is not as stated. The customer services are not worth the price of a telephone call. The refund policy is appalling. I have had no response from anyone. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY, ESPECIALLY DO NOT ORDER THE LIGHTWEIGHT HEDGE TRIMMER, IF YOU ARE EXPECTING A LIGHTWEIGHT HEDGE TRIMMER, AND WANT A QUICK REFUND. The company has not responded to any of my queries and I have not received a refund.

Nothing went wrong its the fact that you advertise the trimmer showing a woman operating the unit at height. I found the unit to heavy to operate for moore than a few minutes before needing to rest. I consider your advert to be deceptive if not a complete falsehood

Load of rubbish .order an item 8 Dec now 14 spent 2 emails requesting where the item was from customer services . No reply getting my money back through credit card . DONT TOUCH THEM WITH A BARG POLE.

I made an order on 22.07.2020. Money taken from my card + an extra £1 on 23.07.2020. Unable to contact Eckman at all. 14.08.20 eventually contacted Customer Service company who said they were servicing several companies. Said could not locate order, order No incorrect etc.etc.etc. 19.08.2020 Cust Serv. still say they cannot locate order. But Eckman have my money !!

I bought the Edge trimmer & extra disks, which did'nt have a battery charger in the box, which they deny. When I rang they said they check all the boxes. They sell replacement batteries but they don't sell a replacement charger so I have new trimmer that is useless. I've tried online but no one sells them. I told them I'll be telling everyone about them.

If there was nil stars, then that is where my tick would be....I have bought many Eckman products over the years, and always seem to have trouble with them. The customer service is non existent, The problem is that if the products are outside the guarantee, and they go wrong, its impossible to get spare parts. You are told that they no longer make that particular product and paerts are unavailable. I have a 24 volt lawnmower, and the batteries need replacing, no chance...I have a leaf blower, and the bag needs replacing... no chance...On top of that bought a telescopic hedge trimmer, which is so heavy its impossible to use at an angle..../.This company and the companies that sell their products need investigating ...I have E mailed about 30 times , written 3 letters but no response......Disgusting service.

Like many others who brought the "lightweight" Eckman Telescopic Hedge Trimmer, i tried to use it just the once. Like others, i was fooled by the add. the young woman holding the trimmer at full height. it`s totally impractical and i was mislead by the promotional add. trying to return it has proved just as much of a problem.

I had an email from Eckman on the 10th May stating that they had my order. It is now 9th June, they took my money but I have not Garden Bird Feeder. They ignored my email. I telephone them today. There is always a queue of people waiting to talk to someone. I am begining to wonder if they should feature on the tv programme ' Rogue Traders ' I am a pensioner and cannot afford to give away nearly £30 and get nothing for it.

Wish I had read Jules review before I bought the telescopic hedge trimmer. I could write my review word for word as to what he said It shows a woman using it: my Husband had a job and he’s young and fit. The strap doesn’t work as you can’t grab the handle. It is soooo heavy. I requested a return authorisation but of course they don’t pay return postage. This is totally false advertising about the product. I will never buy any of their products again I don’t know if it’s worth contacting the CEO as he doesn’t seem to reply or care as yet I can’t find a return service that is not cost inhibitive Looks like it will cost over £20

Unable to get relacement bag for garden vacuum. Machine is less than three years old but they have changed the fitting from round to square so my machine is now useless. Avoid this company, not helpful at all.
