“Ordered 3 trees then saw the reviews and was horrified. However, they turned up today (Thursday) having ordered on Monday, which is really pretty good. Item well boxed and look fine, hopefully they'll note grow well! Clearly this number of negative reviews can't be wrong, but my experience was good.”

“Bought the Eckman elite two in one hedge & chainsaw through Amazon UK on 21st March 2017 delivered on 23rd March 17 . All good , package not damaged , the product went together ok , you get the instruction manual and a bottle of oil for the chainsaw and the shoulder strap, you get a solid plastic cover for the chainsaw blade and a plastic bag to cover the clipper blades it does feel heavy when all attached when on full reach but the reach is a good length . Going to try it out over the weekend as we are predicted good weather here in the south . But so far all good , fast delivery good packaging ,”

“Last year bought a second 4 in 1 electric hedge trimmer and gave the first one, 3 years old, to my son-in-law which he is still using. Unfortunately the motor failed on the second with just a few days left on 12 month warranty. Contacted eckman who picked it up 3 days later and have replaced it NO QUIBBLES. This machine may not be as robust as others but then it is not as expensive. It is good value at a sensible price for the average gardener. Would recommend it and eckman to anyone. Excellent service.”

“Trimmer is working well and comes with easy instructions. Its a bit on the heavy side but I guess a male could use with out any problems. Package was damage on sides, apart from this a good all round service,”

“I ordered muti-purpose chainsaw, hedge trimmer, strimmer/ brush cutter pack, I new it was out of stock due to its popularity and was prepared to wait until new stock wasexpected on 27th April, the package was delivered by Yodel and was in an appalling state with some items protruding through the side of aboxwithout any internal packing. The package had been handled so roughly in transit coursing Yodel to attempt repackaging. The attempt to repackage was terrible and in the process essential parts where lost. I contacted Eckman and arrangements where made by them for a swift collection and acomplete new package was received within five days. I am highly delighted with the unit,it seems to me that most of the problem lies with the packaging and Yodel only minor improvements are needed for me to give Eckman 5 stars. “Mine is a more positive review than most of the others, so I thought it only fair to record it. I bought the petrol hedgecotter etc backpack kit. This arrived in 2 packages via Yodel. A substantial well made and finished machine. Unfortunately the chainsaw guide bar was missing - evidence suggests that one package had broken open in transit and in repacking the chainsaw bar got lost. I asked for a spare to be sent but was told that this item not carried as a spare - whole kit would have to be returned. I repacked the packages and they were collected by Yodel, all arranged and paid for by Eckman. I was offered the option of a complete replacement kit, or money back. I had now become aware that there might be a problem in getting engine and other spares after the 12 month guarantee period and I would expect this equipment to be repairable and to be serviceable fior some years so, reluctantly, I opted for money back. This arrived within 2 or 3 days. If I could have been sure about future availability of spares I would have kept the kit, and would have given a five star rating - in the circumstances I give four. “My long reach hedge trimmer looks like it will do the job with ease. Unfortunately it will not see any action until spring but I am looking forward to many seasons of use from this well built and designed tool”
