Terrible company!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. You will not receive your goods but they will take your money, have been waiting 2 weeks for a refund Will no be contacting credit card company.

I ordered a wildlife camera on the 27/6/15 did not receive it till 8/7/15 after their promise of 7 days delivery ,but when I opened it the batteries were missing after all the phone calls and what a joke still waiting their lucky to have one star .Keep away from firms like these

Ordered a rotivator for my dad's birthday. Paid for express delivery and am still waiting for it a week later. Every time I ring I'm told it's still with the couriers. Have asked 3 times now for a manager to call me back and no one does, they also promised to refund the express delivery payment that still has not been done. Dads birthday been and gone with no present. Will not be using again plenty of other companies with better customer service.

If I could give no stars I would, my overall opinion of this company is appalling. They took my money off me straight away even though the product I wanted was not in stock. They did not inform me it was out of stock and when I did not get a response to a number of e-mails after 2 weeks I had to spend over half an hour waiting on the telephone trying to contact their customer service department. When I finally spoke to someone they said the goods had just been despatched the previous day. I can only assume this was a blatant lie as a further 2 weeks later I had still not received my product and it had mysteriously disappeared from their website as being offered. I cancelled my order via e-mail and ordered a similar product from another company which was slightly cheaper and was received within 3 days. Well done to Trueshopping.

This company was quick enough to take your money on an order but when it comes down to correcting mistakes customer service are non existant. My father ordered an awning, 5 days later it was received but the wrong color although the delivery note stated the correct one. It was arranged for it to be collected and the correct one sent. It was collected no problem at all but receiving the correct one was another kettle of fish. Numerous phone calls and a few emails only one of which was replied to only asking for an address which was clearly stated on the original email we found out that 2 had gone astray and 3 weeks later finally the correct one was received. My father went to put it up BUT no instructions. He spent few days hanging on phone to no answer and I again emailed asking for instructions along with an explination of lack of customer service. Out of the blue I received an email attatching the instructions apologising for them not being sent but no expliantion of the complaint that I had made. Anyway nail in the coffin the bit the my father is struggling with putting the awning up is in CHINESE!!!!!... We give up. IF YOU ARE THINKING OF ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY PLEASE THINK AGAIN AS IF YOU NEED AFTER SALES CUSTOMER SERVICE.. THERE IS NONE..... DISGUSTING!!!!!!

Be aware - I just received my Credit Card Statement to find that the payment had been claimed by a Company called Apple Tree Enterprises in London. How long will it take for Trading Standards to jump on this ? Please share your experiences with them.

We also ordered a chainsaw/hedgecutter, it was too small so ordered a telescopic saw/hedgecutter,we rang for them to pickup item it was almost 3months so we rang to say that we would be charging for storage on a daily basis, if they didnt come out to collect it,they did in a couple of days It didnt finish there though,when the bank statement arrived,the payment was for another company in the US A for an health clinic so our credit card company stopped it We wouldnt use this company again ever

Very unprofessional and couldn't care less attitude from customer services telephone operators. Ordered two items on 8th July. No goods arrived so I phoned about 3 days ago. I was told goods had just come back into stock and had been dispatched. One item was delivered today so I phoned again to find out about the second item and was told it was no longer available. I asked why I was not informed and was told I probably should have been told. I was so annoyed I wanted to return the item that had been delivered so they gave me a RAC number and told me I would have to pay the return costs, unbelievable. Will not buy from this company ever again and would never recommend them to anybody. Jeanette Lees, Saltcoats.

Avoid this Company at all costs ! Ordered product 3rd July on 1 day delivery. Due to an "error" it was not received until 10th July and was faulty. Eckman promised to collect and replace with new, but in fact only collected the faulty unit on 17th July. On 18th July a "Customer Services" advisor promised to despatch the replacement on Monday 20th July, for delivery on Tuesday 21st. Stayed in all day but nothing received. Called on Wednesday to be told that the unit was despatched on Monday, but when I asked for Tracking detail was told it was actually still there. The advisor promised that a supervisor would call back to advise when it would ship - but of course, they did not. Sent more emails, but received no response. Have called again today to be told that the unit was replaced on 18th July, but has not shipped yet due to delays in delivery ! She was unable to say when it might be delivered. When I said that I wanted to cancel, I was told that was not possible because the unit was in "packing". The advisor insisted there was nothing she could do so I said I would refuse to accept any delivery that may occur some time and requested a refund. She said I would not be able to have a refund until the unit that they have not yet delivered was returned to them !!!!! That just about sums up Eckman - a bunch of conmen in my view.

I had a bad feeling about this company from the first minute of ringing them. They were totally unprofessional in their approach to on line ordering and after asking them to email me confirmation of my order and payment, which I was promised within 24 hours, and which was not forthcoming, I rang them again. Was promised an immediate response on the second phone call and told that no money would be taken from my account until my goods were dispatched. Again, no response and then I got concerned. I rang my credit card provider who told me that they had already tried to obtain payment for goods which were not due until the end of August under another company name. Fortunately for me, my card was declined due to the wrong numbers being given and my credit card provider has been advised not to honour any further requests for payment. This company is obviously TOTALLY UNTRUSTWORTHY and I agree with all the previous reviews that they must be reported to Trading Standards and stopped from selling goods on line. This is what gets on line retailers a bad name. I hope this unfortunate experience will be read and heeded by any prospective buyers of equipment from Eckman. What a lucky escape I had unlike many before me. PLEASE AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE. GEOFF, STAFFS

Appalling. I have learned my lesson, and never again will I order from a company that I don't know without checking reviews first. Just rang them after more than a month of waiting ... after a long hold, was informed that they had refunded my card (I must check that) because the order was cancelled. In fairness, I hadn't actually cancelled the order, but had informed 'customer service' via email last week that if it hadn't been received by last Friday, I was going to cancel the order. They never replied to that email and I didn't send another, but I guess they realised I was never going to get the item. Just checked my account, no refund processed, the lying feckers.

Further to my previous comment that customer services told me that my order was despatched at 15.03 on Tuesday 14th July, Nothing has arrived and no despatch number. I did get an e-mail response sent on Sunday (yes Sunday) 19th July saying that my order had been despatched and would be received in a maximum of five working days. I will try to ring them tomorrow (Monday) and if they can't give me a tracking number I will cancel the order and buy elsewhere and then try to get my money back. I will be making a complaint about this company to trading standards.

Batteries lasted less than 2 years at 3 cuts per year. Complained to Eckman by email twice now still no response. Wouldn't touch them again with a barge pole

My husband ordered an item which was not delivered in five working days, even though money was taken off immediately! !When contacted company said it was not in stock but would be delivered when it arrived.A month later after no further communication from company my husband asked for refund.A week later my husband again had to contact company and was told a refund would be made. Still not received a week later. Husband having to contact company again or take it further with trading standards or similar body.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! I cannot complain about product, because I refused delivery of it after twice being told it had been despatched with no email about tracking number, what I am discussed with is customer services every thing people have said about long waits on phone no email response are true I am still waiting for my money back with no joy, surely this is classed as theft, if I don't receive it in the next week I will be contacting police and trading standards dept

an update on my order. Paid Monday for Express delivery. Not arrived Wednesday so contacted customer service (what a joke). Took 12 minutes for them to answer then they couldn't give me any information except the system had logged my order for standard 5 day delivery. They couldn't do anything about it but should be with me this week. Asked for a call back from a senior manager, didn't get it. Rang back again took 15 minutes to answer and was told the order was with the carrier and should be with me Thursday or Friday and agreed to refund the £4 extra I had paid for Express. Asked to cancel the order but they couldn't as it had left the warehouse. Rang today, broke all records as it took 18 minutes to answer. Then was told that the order had gone to the carrier and it would take 5 working days to deliver so I could expect it Thursday of next week hopefully which is 11 days after paying for Express. What a joke. I intend to refuse delivery if it ever arrives and make a claim to Paypal . I will never consider dealing with this company again and would encourage everyone to avoid like the plague. I don't believe there is an Express delivery service and its just a con to get customers to pay extra. Keep away.

they owe me a replacement battery, and said it was on its way, nothing... since then I have written email and discovered the phone calls are premium rated ! what! I,m always the 10th in the queue so no thanks, I shall also complain to trading standards, and NEVERdeal with this company again,

Avoid this company like the plague. I paid for express and they didn't deliver within three days. When contacted after holding on listening the a please hold message every 30 seconds I was told it was scheduled for delivery in five days time. Not good enough. Everyone I spoke to was very nice but knew nothing and couldn't do anything. Excuses at every stage. I asked to speak to someone in charge but not available nor ever would be. I asked for a call back with no result. Complete waste of time.

Don't tade with this company its totally incompetent hasn't got a clue what customer device is .i paid for next day then was told there was a computer blip and was down for 5 days he then said it had been dispatched but I had no email I feel I'm being conned After I was left hanging on the phone for 30 minutes a person answers and appears to know less than me Please shop else where

My package arrived within a reasonable time period, but was damaged and 1 item was missing. Despite repeated phone calls, where the call is important, but no response, and a couple of e-mails, no response, I am no further forward. I've looked at the website and find that e-mails will be responded to within 24 hours but I'm now several days down the line from the 1st message. I've looked at various company checks thinking there may be a phone no. there, but been unsuccessful. I've failed in my attempts to find numbers for the company directors listed. I am cross with myself that I did not look at reviews before ordering. Silly thing is that the items that did arrive, seem to be fulfilling their description, so I don't have a problem on that score. Perhaps if Eckman work on customer service their company may survive longer than it's 1st year of trading. COMPLETED THIS AND DOUBT IF THERE'LL BE ANY SORT OF RESPONSE FROM ECKMAN.
