“Had a great 4 day stay with my wife and our three kids. Sky tv, wifi and three good sized double bedrooms. Great location, even my 4 year old made it up to the Royal Mile by foot. Free parking immediately outside a real plus in Edinburgh. Owner, George, attentive in insuring we had made it there safely. Will definitely visit again. Thanks George.”

“We loved our stay at this apartment. Very central, close to the station too. Because the Royal Mile is pedestrianised below the flat, there's no traffic noise which more than made up for any, fairly unnoticeable, noise of late night revellers. The apartment was clean, comfortable, sunny and beautifully equipped - we've never had such large fluffly towels when we've rented an apartment before. The seventy or so stairs up to the flat took some getting used to but it was worth it for the wonderful views towards Arthur's Seat!”
“We stayed in the flat during August 2011. The flat is spacious with a relatively modern bathroom (although it is quite small) and kitchen. The bathroom seat was broken and when we reported it to the owner it was promptly fixed within the day.
There are little things which could be done to make the flat more welcoming (refresh the carpet in the living room, bedrooms and hallways, higher quality linen and towels).
The flat is very central if you are in Edinburgh for a few days.”

“The flat has enough space, is well located and has every thing you would need.
There is not much daylight during the day, because it is located at the basement.
However you won’t spend the day at home, aren’t you!
Shuttle bus to airport and grocery store 2 min by foot away.”
“Have stayed at this flat twice now and would do so again. Nice tidy, clean flat just a shame about the size of the loo - it's no bigger than a cupboard!
The access is a pain at first - up 3 flights of stairs (spiral- sort of) 60 steps in total, I know I counted them :), but trust me you do get used to them!!
No problems with the neighbours - never saw any of them, just heard the guy opposite when he cleared a massive pile of rubbish (old carpets and furniture)from outside his front door......”
“I've had an extended stay here and I have found the flat very comfortable and in a great location. The local restaurants and bars offer good variety and excellent service. Stockbridge is well served with a number of bus routes close by although proximity to the city is close enough that I've often walked.

“Gorgeous house with 3 great rooms we had no arguments about which room we each got, which is impressive with 6 girls! Location was ideal as it was nice and quite but a short bus journey away. Will definitely be looking to come back next year!”
