“So I ordered a Mane Concept wig, typically ElevateStyles shipped within a couple of days after purchase but for some reason this particular wig didn't even ship, they only went so far to create a shipping number but nothing was moving for days, damn near a week. Coming to find out, they didn't have the wig in their possession to ship and they didn't communicate that until I inquired a week later. If I didn't question anything, they would've keep giving the runaround with my money in their pocket. Everything got resolved, canceled my order, got my money back, and got the wig from another beauty site. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and unfortunately after many years of doing business with this company, I've decided this will be my last transaction with them.”
“I ordered one perm and that was approx. 9/22/25 and did not receive until 10/16/25. Worse serve ever. By now I have purchased 5 from another store. Now I understand why my friend stopped doing business with Elevate. It says in my mailbox but I haven't found it yet.”

“I ordered nine packs of crochet braiding hair at 10:17 am on 10/4/25. The order stated I should receive my order some time between 10/9 - 10/11. On 10/7 I received a tracking message stating the label for my order was cancelled. I checked my email daily for an update. Finally on 10/11 I received a tracking notice that my items had been delivered to a Lakewood, CA address. I live in the suburbs of Metropolitan Atlanta on the other side of the country. I contacted Elevate's customer service about the mistake with receipts and proof of what had transpired upt to that point. In turn I received the message:
We are not shipping to California. We are shipping to
[insert my name and address].
This response annoyed me because I was not the one who sent the tracking number that when clicked said my items had been delivered on 10/11 to California. Nor was I contacting them for my health. In other words, I did everything I was suppose to and yet I received a non-sensical, flippant response. I emailed them my sentiments and the fact this ongoing delay was causing complications. I also asked to cancel my order and refund my money. In a more genial follow-up response they stated that they had resent my items and that they would arrive Thursday, 10/16 and would I confirm acceptance of this and rescind my cancellation and request for refund. I responded if they were assuring me my items would come on Thursday, 10/16 then I would agree. Here it is 6:14 PM, Friday, 10/17 and I still have NOT received my items. I also never received the new tracking number, so I have no way to assess how close I am to receiving them.
I have dealt with Elevate Styles in the past and had no glaring problems, but based on this interaction I cannot recommend them and I am highly doubtful I will be doing business with them in the future.
I have heard of another YTuber crochet channel having a similar problem with Elevate Styles delaying items. So I guess you have a 50-50 chance of receiving your items in a timely fashion.”
