“I put an order in, but it wouldn't let me put in the 20% off code. Afterwards realised that the 20% was only for certain clothes, which I hadn't bought. I did have to return 2 items, but that was no problem as we had a local 'collect' store nearby. It didn't cost anything either.”

“Excellent fabric. Great attention to detail, making this jacket so stylish & on trend for spring and summer. Very comfortable to wear both open or zipped up. Goes fantastic with jeans or skirts as both casual and smart. Recommend this girls!”

“My wardrobe is entirely Elvi, I live in Ireland, their delivery is good, though as a regular customer the £10.00 charge is steep if you forget one thing. I have just sent all of the summer pieces back. The cut is poor, the fabric cheap, the zips crude; and for what it is expensive. This is in contrast to the more formal wear and knitwear which is lovely. For me Elvi has got quality and cut badly wrong this year.”

“The website is simple and therefore easy to use. Clear pictures give a good account of the product. Checkout is no problem. I cannot comment on returns because I have not yet send back any purchases. Well, if that is not a good thing! I am pleased with the product received. Delivery and keeping costumer informed are excellent. I would recommend to friends and family to use the website.”

“I bought these trousers for work but I am very disappointed with the fabric which is poor quality and provides no structure whatsoever. The finish is at best amateur with over-locking chain hung from the hem and puckered side seams. The trousers do not feature a crease, as such they look like harem trousers. All in all a very disappointed customer and a returned item I'm afraid.”

“I have been shopping with Elvi for number of year now, going back to when you had a store in Darlington, which I do still miss. Elvi style and design has changed over the years and there is not as much in your range that appeals to me as in previous years, however there are a few select items. In my last shop, the items are easy to find on line well described and the whole process was quick and simple. Goods have now arrived which were all as described and of good quality. One top will be returned as the colour is a little stronger than I had imagined. Will continue to shop at Elvi”

“Found the website easy and convenient to use, but costly. The skirt I ordered was lovely, but was far too long, even wearing heels the skirt dragged a good inch on the floor so I had to return it. I would happily have used Elvi website again, but the fact that you charge delivery for returning an item has lost you my custom.”

“Great range of clothing with good, comfortable fit - fantastic to have plus-size dresses that are knee length and gorgeous fabrics. Only downside was the lack of colour choice, but I'm definitely recommending you to friends and will order again! :)”

“The quality of Elvi items is good. And customer service is excellent but sizing is an issue. 2 of the 3 things I've bought the sleeves are too narrow. I've had to size up x 2 to get arms/shoulder to fit resulting in body to big. Never had this issue with other brands”

“Skirt - purchased - brilliant. Blouse (half price) - disappointed, seam not stitched properly, neck facing needs attention to lie flat. Both of these I can fix but not the standard I expect. Maybe that's why it was reduced! Would hate to think I would get this quality at full price.”

“Sadly the purchase was unsuitable and I have had to return, however although I left it at a designated point 3 days ago and have my receipt, I have yet to receive any confirmation from Elvi of receipt of the return and not yet received the refund. This is very poor.”

“This is on the face of it a very nice coat. However it is not lined and so if you wanted to wear it unbuttoned it would look dreadful as you would see all the seams , the inside pockets etc. It would be ideal if it was lined. , but sadly I had to send it back as I don't want an unlined coat”

“I ordered 3 items and was very pleased with 2; unfortunately the other item was very badly stained and so had to be returned. Returning items is easy though-I dropped it off at the local shops”

“Ever since Elvi started I have worn your clothes. I am now in my 60's, and am finding that you are doing everything for the young. We 60 year olds have cash, please can you do a few classic lines as before and some decent tea shirts. I feel buying clothes for myself very difficult. it was easy when you had a shop to try things on. I am not the only person in my age bracket who has this problem.”
