“The quality and design of the clothes are very good. It is a pity that all your dresses are only 100 cm which is not suitable for my height (175 cm) and figure. Could you please consider making dresses with "midi" length and jackets and trousers for tall women? Also, could you please specify sizes of your scarfs. Thank you very much.”

“Although, overall, you clothes are good, I think you focus too much on dresses and suits, some more blouses and casual trousers would be great. I always used to buy my work suits from you - trousers and jackets, but now you don't do classic, well cut styles. You need to get a bit more modern in your outlook. Whilst writing, I must protest about you closing the Canterbury shop within Nason's, are you going to open another one or must we all now buy 'on-line'. I don't expect an answer as I have already written once and had no reply.”

“I bought several items in the Sale. I was pleased with all of them although the two silky tops had facings which don't lie completely flat. I need to stitch them in place which is disappointing.”

“Devastated when Elvi shops closed - left a lot of my salary with them over the years! Online shop helps but would like to see more business clothes and not so many dresses! Longer lengths on tops also essential. Overall any purchases I have made have been well handled and arrived in good time.”

“I ordered online over late May Bank Holiday. i had tried to telephone for advice and got very frustrated when the call was not answered even by an answering machine. It was nor clear from the website that the phone would only be answered during office hours. My order was dealt with promptly and was well packed. I tried everything on and discovered a number of things. 1. I was at fault because I inadvertently asked for two dresses when I only wanted one. This was accepted by yourselves and I am grateful for that. 2. The sizings were not as I remembered and even though I can still comfortably wear size 22 Elvi dresses from the old company, I could not get into a 24 with your sizings and had to ask for size 26. 3. I was disappointed with the fit on the cami top. The arm holes were far too big and the material gaped over my chest. 4. When I did have a concern that my replacement jacket that I had asked for had not come, I was treated extremely well and with courtesy by the lady who answered the telephone to me. The coat came through a day or so later and I was pleased with it. 5. It took a long time for the refund to go onto my credit card statement but again when I telephoned my query was answered well by a gentleman who answered the phone and the refund came in a few days later. However I am having difficulty working out the bill as no explanation of the refund has been sent to me even on email. I hope this feed back is helpful as I would like to buy from you in the future”

“It is a long time since I have been able to buy trousers and wear them without being altered. I purchased two pairs recently from Elvi. They arrived within a day of ordering online and were a perfect fit. I am long waisted and the cut siuted me perfectly. They have washed and worn well. I shall definitely be ordering some more.”

“Speedy delivery. items as described and reasonably well packed. If any criticism, it is creasing of the dress...some looks to have been before transport. Very pleased overall, incredible value for a wedding outfit!”

“I am awkward proportions, tall, 2 inches longer in the upper body and longer legs. Elvi suits me, fits well and clothes hang well. The nearest Elvi is over 40 miles away and not really accessible. I only shop on the internet when desperate. Some Elvi clothes I have had for years as they don't date. 2014 will be a sad year as my jacquard denim jacket is very close to the end of its life span. I have not worn denim before but love this jacket to bits. It is so much classier than other denim jackets. There are few other makes where I can be sure of getting what I want in size and style. I like to look well dressed and Elvi helps me to achieve this. Barbara Travers .”

“The two items I purchased were part of the summer sale, they were excellent quality and fit really well especially the petite jacket, being a larger lady but only just over five feet tall I have problems with jackets fitting, however this jacket fits perfectly. With speedy delivery, excellent value for money products I will be shopping with Elvi again soon.”

“Excellent quality, consistent sizing, a great range of clothes and fantastic prices. I have used this company for several years and have never been disappointed. The only problem I have had is that some of the pieces are too long for me, but if you read the sizing information carefully it helps!”

“Good, reliable service and great range of fashionable clothes in plus sizes. Delighted that Elvi have reintroduced free returns as it gives confidence in placing an order - if it doesn't suit or doesn't fit, can now return it post free (but don't usually want to). Two things I would like: 1. Citing a price without VAT, then adding VAT at checkout takes some getting used to. Can you include VAT in the stated price please? 2. It's not always possible to tell from pics how wide the trouser leg is at the ankle - could that be included in the description please?”
