“Shopping with Elvi is an absolute pleasure. It is a great regret that there are no stores left now in Scotland. I enjoyed the opportunity to browse round the store in Aberdeen. The clothes are beautifully styled and well-made. The fabrics are high quality too. Many of the sale items now are only available in small sizes, sadly. On the whole I would be lost without Elvi as the trousers are the best fit without a doubt. Please keep putting new smart/ casual clothes on your site. More jeans and chinos, chambray shirts and white blouses, stripes and spots. Thank you.”

“I have shopped for clothes at Elvi for the past 3 years and have come to rely on their elegant styles for a smart wardrobe for any occasion - casual wear, celebrations or work. In fact I hardly shop anywhere else now. Above all I love their beautiful choice of high quality materials. Although new clothes are priced quite high Elvi runs enough sales and promotions to find a good bargain now and again.”

“I have purchased quite allot from Elvi both casual and dressy. i am size 18/20 and everything I purchase fits and good quality. I love a bargain and their Sales are great. Delivery is quick.”

“One of the jacket sleeve was stitched so badly at wrist I was unable to get my hand in the sleeve. I had to return the item for a replacement. The size 16 the neck was far too wide.”

“The choice of garments with colours available and sizes to choose from is excellent. The ordering process is easy and the email confirmation greatly appreciated. Packing is very good and delivery satisfactory. On the occasion recently when the parcel had been cut open in transit, the missing item was sent out immediately without question. I am a very happy and regular customer. Thank you.”

“I recently ordered some black trousers from elvi, but unfortunatly I did not like the material, so have returned the said item. No refund has yet been sent. It is a loss to me that your shop in the arcade cheltenham has closed as I do like to try the clothes on before purchasing them. I have shopped with your store since you first opened in cheltenham and have always been very happy with the clothes bought and the quality has always been excellent.”

“I have been a customer of Elvi for many many years but consider today's choices very limiting for the older lady. You used to have a selection of colours, now there is trends dependant on one main colour theme. Gone are the coloured patterned blouses that would go with either trousers or a skirt. Some of the fashions that in vogue are not suitable for the older bigger lady, I am not keen on black or dark grey and there is a lot of it in your selection. I have blouses that I have been wearing for years but there is nothing that I like to replace them, the quality is still good and that is a plus sign for you.”

“Very good service - rapid delivery and responsive return or exchange service. Clothes are good value and I keep coming back. New website is much improved with side and back views as well as front but pictures and garment description still do not always give full picture, e.g., width of trouser legs and colour reproduction sometimes wrong.”

“Cape good but image did not make clear that there are 2 'scarf attachments' that are difficult to keep in place. These also make it difficult to drive as I don't like things ppulling on my neck. However the cape is a good lightweight car coat.”

“I ordered two jackets. One arrived and was very nice, the delivery note stated that the other jacket was out of stock, even though when ordered online my order was accepted. This other jacket was for a wedding so I then had to go out to buy another jacket which was rather annoying. Both items were sale goods. Even so I am always pleased with the quality of Elvi goods. It's just a shame that the Elvi franchise shops are now very few and far between.”

“The quality of Elvi clothes has deteriorated over the years - I've been buying Elvi for over 20 years and with each management change designs and materials have been less good and sizes have changed. They are not as generous now. I used to be able to buy most of my clothes from them, now, it's an occasional purchase and then I have a debate about whether to keep the item.”
