“Good quality fabric and it could be a lovely coat...on someone else. Looks like a dressing gown on me! Think it is because it isn't lined so it doesn't have a prompt structure. Not the look I was going for, so having to return it.”

“The camel coat I received was very badly packaged and looked like a dish rag when I took it out of its way too small packaging. Even after hanging it out for 5 days the creases did not drop out and I have now returned it for a refund. The red blouse was ok - packaging again not great but nice design although on the small side”

“I have made many purchases from Elvi over the last number of years. Some I have been very happy with and others I have had to return. My most recent order I had to return. I find elvi postage is very expensive. 10 pound is very expensive. I buy from another UK company and they only charge 3.95.”

“Delivery was fast and on time. The dress had a very good material which was perfect for winter parties. The dress itself was not true to size for me. As i am short, the dress was too long for me, and the chest area was quite large for my bust. If i had a bigger bra size i think that would fit perfectly. And also on the shoulders did not fit ok. Very disappointed. Overall I had to return it the next day for a better choice.”

“I have been an Elvi customer since you opened your first shop in Glasgow 1980/90?. then inside John Lewis store, and back to Glasgow. My recent purchases were an extreme disappointment to me - labelled size 22 - I would question. I also found your return instructions totalling confusing, and have put both tops in the charity bag. Sorry I will not be buying from you again.”

“The coat seemed to be made of good material and was nicely lined - however it appeared that there were lots of loose threads, these i would have cut off if i had kept the coat. Unfortunately the fit was extremely small for the size ordered and was very tight on the arms so it has had to be returned but I have re-ordered a larger size hoping that this will fit.”

“Whilst the shirt is very nice and fits well there are two point against it. Firstly the quality of workmanship was quite poor. I spent about 10 minutes removing untidy threads both on the inside and out. The biggest problem however was not apparent until I was ironing it. Thats when I noticed that both sleeves have been sewn on back to front meaning the slit and buttons are at the front. Unfortunately as I had removed the labels prior to washing, it meant that I can no longer return it. Yes I could have waited before removing them but I didn`t spot the sleeves being back to front when I got it. Not the sort of thing you generally look for when purchasing a shirt. So I now have a shirt I cant wear and will have to give to charity because I dont sew and dont want to pay someone else to put right the error. Very disappointed!”
