“I worked with Joe F., and he was incredibly helpful throughout the process of deciding whether to install solar panels at our house. He was also patient when we put off the decision from mid-2023 to early 2024, and fully available when we restarted the investigation and went ahead with an order. Your ability to provide comparison data across many suppliers makes the decision process much easier, and knowing that EnergySage has background data on the suppliers helps consumers make their decisions with more confidence.”

“I loved that I didn’t have to make multiple call to area installers. My Energy Sage contact spent time going through the bids, discussed questions to ask installers, and gave me insight into the nuances of solar installation. This is maybe a twice a lifetime process for me so having an expert really helped!”

“I learned about EnergySage from Matt Ferrel from undecidedmf.com. I really appreciate the normalized proposals that make it easier for a home owner to compare them. I also appreciate that a person from EnergySage itself got assigned to me, however while I got some help the person was not as responsive as I hoped. Maybe one suggestion would be to let installers list out additional devices with detailed information, e.g. for a combiner, sub panel, controller, etc. I wish you all the success, you do great work!”

“EnergySage is a welcome neutral third-party for someone like me who wasn't sure I wanted to go solar. With three actual quotes to compare, some back-and-forth with the firms with no pressure, and EnergySage's standard rating of products, I was able to decide on my own terms. Doing my own research on the net to get multiple views on products, like various SolarSurge YouTube vides, etc sealed the deal.”

“While I found the information useful and valuable, as well as finding several solar installers worthy of consideration, the EnergySage quoting system is rather devious and misleading. It takes an inordinate amount of effort to find out what the system you are looking at will REALLY cost. They spend all of their energy and format everything to try to make a sale. All they present are "cost savings," "payback period" and "net cost after rebates and tax incentives." But they hide the actual total cost under 2-3 levels of click throughs. I find this very decieving and misleading. It is almost as bad as the hidden "resort fees" that hotels try to hide from you when you search for a room. In summary, I was able to wade through the process and EnergySage definitely helped me find what I hope will be the right installer, but their process and format do not serve the customer ... only the installers by hiding the true cost of the system deep in the bowels of their system.”

“Having this resource for information and accumulating competitive quotes is a game-changer. I've been kicking around the idea of going solar for years. I'd talk to a contractor or sales person who had what seemed like a good story. Then I'd talk to another one who also had a good story, but quite different. You are always comparing apples and oranges in different formats. EnergySage made this evaluation and selection process so much easier. I now have confidenct that I made the right decisions.”

“I encountered EnergySage after initiating some internet searches for solar companies. I signed up and within a couple of days had quotes for solar installations from four different companies. The website made communication with the various companies easy while avoiding the bombardment of phone calls directly from the solar companies. Additionally, the website made it easy to compare quotations. I have now selected a solar company to provide my installation and am in the scheduling phase. I was pleased with the four companies that were provided through EnergySage and found the entire process easy to navigate via EnergySage. I did not find it necessary to communicate with my assigned solar advisor directly.”

“In my search for information about solar power, I was fortunate to stumble on “EnergySage.com”. In addition to answering all my questions and many more that I hadn’t thought of, it also gave me the opportunity to shop for quotes and vet sellers anonymously, shielded by the site and supported by a fabulous Energy Advisor named Maria Kiley. But that’s not where this ended. Energy Sage presented my quotes as side by side comparisons with explanations of all the data and projections submitted by each installer including detailed customer reviews. This allowed me to narrow my selection to a pair of installers from whom I made my final choice.”
