Kyle Boyd was the salesmen. The crew that installed the system were experienced and did a great job. I would rate them at a 4.9. I am completely satisfied with there work so far and communications. Thank you.

A shady company that manipulates feedback and savings on its website! Energy Sage, despite claims to the contrary, unprofessionally removes reviews at the request of suppliers. My review, agreed to be accurate by both supplier and Energy Sage, was removed because it was justifiably critical of the supplier signup process, sales representatives' level of knowledge, and their ability to convey that information to a prospective customer. I returned to Energy Sage to update the review only to find it missing. When I contacted Energy Sage they admitted to removing it. In addition, they don't properly represent savings. For example, for rooftop solar, they don't include fees you'll still have to pay the utility! As always buyer beware! Keep in mind Energy Sage exists to help sell energy solutions NOT to aid consumers in making prudent energy decisions! Unfortunately, they are funded by the US Department of Energy and states including mine with misguided criteria.

Great product, poor customer service. If you ever have an issue be prepared for the gaslighting as they repeat the corporate mantra "your issue is due to shading, the system is operating within the spec". This will occur within the first minute of your call, before they make an attempt to assess the data and the situation.

Very nice experience. It was very easy to get quotes from multiple contractors. Very easy to get modified quotes for different configurations and compare all the quotes.

Not having ever heard of, Energysage, before I started my quest for adding a solar panel system to our home, I had no idea of what to expect. As it came to be, EnergySage is a fantastic company bringing together a wealth of knowledge easily accessed from their online website. The one-stop shopping place to gather multiple bids for your solar panel system quest. I received four bids from well-established companies, all well-regarded with access to read reviews and contact reps from those companies. I requested bids in mid-summer and I wasn't quite ready to commit to a contract. No problem. I received offers to update the bids with current offers. Finally, I studied the offers, talked with reps from the companies I was most interested in, and then made our decision to commit to one company. This was made easier in the fact that after you make you decision, EnergySage lets the competitors know your decision so you don't have to. I can highly recommend Energysage to anyone preparring to inquire about solar panel installation.

Joe was incredibly helpful, responsive, knowledgeable, and professional in my conversations with him about installing solar panels on our roof--both in my initial consultation with him and in the follow-up contact that we have had. I encourage others to take advantage of the great services that Energy Sage provides!

Great service. Simplifies and streamlines the process of obtaining quotes from installers. 3rd party expert was also very helpful in reviewing quotes and giving advice.

I used EnergySage recently to quote rooftop solar. It helped me to make an informed decision. The marketplace opened my eyes to options and helped create a transparent and fair comparison of vendors. The interface to the website was easy to use. Overall my experience was great and led me to install rooftop solar

From one point of view, they do a reasonably good job of providing contacts that can lead to a possible solar system order. In my case it did. However, after that, I also looked for a heat pump installation and followed their links. At the end, it shows a text that they do not do heat pumps, yet anyway. Although they started a new wave of quotes coming in for a possible solar installation. Bad, really bad, to kind of trick you down the wrong path. Maybe the last time I'll use energysage!

This seems to be a very useful, unbiased way to get and compare quotes from multiple solar installers. I like the information they list, and how you can display it, making it easy to compare different companies.

EnergySage is just the right service for homeowners wanting to compare solar installers and their price/offering packages with no high-pressure sales tactics. I received no phone calls, just emails from EnergySage with serious bids for my installation parameters. I found a local installer that met the price, product, and service criteria I was looking for. Couldn't be happier. Plus, Peter was happy to answer my questions and concerns from an independent perspective.

Energy Sage was a very helpful resource while investigating solar panel options. This site made easy to compare quotes from a list of vendors, and to trust that the vendors were reliable and legitimate.

After years of using Energy Sage data and insights, it was a no brainer to leverage their system to find and contract with a solar and battery installer. The platform limited the number of contractors to a manageable amount and those that did reply were professional and responsive. I received proposals from the installers both inside and out of Energy Sage and I much prefer the Energy Sage comparison tool. Not too mention, they have the data sheets for nearly every equipment type offered! The staff reached out as well, kept me informed, and offered to provide other advice on how to engage the contractors. From the platform, to the installers, to the support, Energy Sage absolutely delivers!

The average person interested in solar power is just not sufficiently educated to navigate the myriad offers that will come from the marketplace. An independent solar expert is a key to deciphering the bids, the equipment and the company’s qualifications. For me, Energy Sage provided the necessary support to make this decision. John R.

Was pretty good experience. Nice to get multiple quotes all in one place, all in the same format, without having salesmen wasting your time and giving you the hard sell. Also very nice to be able to click on links and check out the specs on panels and invertors contained in each quote. Did get a lot of emails and texts from a few companies trying to convince me why they were better, but that's better than having a salesman in my house blowing smoke up my shorts. I did have one company not affiliated with energy sage come out and give me a quote. Ridiculous price and a lot of smoke being blown my way - pretty much confirmed the value of using energy sage. The only real let down was my energy sage "advisor". Their available phone times did not fit my schedule, and questions asked by email went unanswered or when they were answered, the answers really didn't help much. If you wish to make an informed decision, you are going to have to do some research on your own. That being said, I did choose a company from my energy sage quotes, and if I had to do it again, I would use energy sage again. My system is not yet installed, so whether or not going solar was the right choice remains to be seen. As a final note, I have a shingled roof, and the shingles were old enough to need replacing - something to consider. If you put a system on your roof and need to reshingle years down the road, the complexity and cost of the re-roof will be much much higher. And I discovered that having a roof redone is NOT cheap. That alone is costing me as much as the solar system. That part sucks, but in my case, I could not see any way around it. So, I'm pleased that I found energy sage, as it definitely helped in making a decision. Whether or not the decision I made pays off for me remains to be seen.
