“EnergySage is an excellent way to get started with a residential Solar project. It is a very efficient way to find Solar Companies from the list of Solar Companies that serve your area that they provide. Most importantly the list includes all the pertinent information about each company, and each company's customer satisfaction ratings to get you started. They also provide education about Solar energy which is very helpful in making a good decision regarding your specific Solar needs. They also check in with you periodically to see how your search is progressing. EnergySage greatly simplifies the "getting started" part of what could be a daunting project.”

“Safe to say we wouldn't be about to install solar without the EnergySage process backing us up. It has made 1000% difference. “Working with EnergySage was one of the best experiences I have had while researching whether or not to add a new, separate PV system to my home. I bought my home in 2021 with an existing PPA system. I do not like the PPA agreement because it locks me in a contract for the next 15 years. Fast forward 6 months, I noticed my energy bill was increasing and my solar system was not producing enough energy to support my family needs. I found EnergySage while watching an YouTube video on solar. I reached out to them. Within days, I received multiple quotes from local companies. I also received a quote from my current solar company. The quote received from EnergySage were cheaper. Fast forward a month, I signed a solar agreement with a company recommended by EnergySage. I hope to have my system installed by February 2023. Thank you EnergySage!”

“This year, we finally decided it was time to install solar. Having been acquainted with Energy Sage for a few years (found them online a few years ago when we initially considered solar), we turned to them again to get updated on the latest panel and inverter technologies and to solicit quotes from several solar system installers. Within a few hours, we had several quotes which we began to review and narrow down to three. My criteria were experience, location of the business (preferred a local business), equipment selection, local ratings of the business, and system pricing. I made contact with 2 or 3 installers using the Energy Sage platform and revise their scopes of supply (number of panels, inverter types, solar production calculations, etc.) for an apples-to-apples comparison of the proposed systems. Using Energy Sage was an easy process and made communicating with businesses very simple. Based on our research, communication, and evaluation of the final proposals, we selected a local installer and are now awaiting the installation of our solar system which is on schedule for February 2023. The process with our selected installer has been smooth thus far; however, I am reserving my review of the installer until installation is completed.”

“energysage helped me compare quotes from real installers, national and local. One of the nice features is the ability to opt-out from "phone calls", and only email communications. This is great to avoid annoying phone calls after you request a quote from a vendor.”

“We came across EnergySage thru a neighborhood Facebook referral and went from there. I would highly recommend using them for both gathering quotes and guidance throughout the process of going solar. Our experience with them couldn't have been any more seamless and they always took the time to discuss and answer all questions that we had regarding the design to choosing a solar company. “The EnergySage is an excellent platform that connects Solar Customers with installers. The installers are verified. EnergySage provides quotes from six installers with reviews. It is very convenient to compare system size and price per KW system, solar panels and inverters, etc. I compared the price and system of all six installers and selected one of these installers, and made some changes to the Panels and Inverters based on my needs. I also got quotes from other installers to compare and select EnergySage. The system will be installed before the end of this month.”

“I received multiple competitive offers. The sales reps were responsive to my requests for modest changes when I asked. What is unclear to me at this point is the quality of the installation though Energy Sage does provide some information on the issue: those with the longer track results of good results get the higher certification level. One minor note of caution: few firms use software that includes the latest fire code changes adopted by many towns that restrict panel placement. Simply overlaying a graphic of solar panels on a Google Earth image will often not be accurate. As such, those with limited roof space may want to read up on their local code to have a more accurate understanding of what is and is not possible for their roof. A comparison of the sample panel layouts from the different bidders can hint at which firms are more detail-oriented and which ones may lead to more surprises at the on-site visit, installation, or city inspection.”
