“As a first time shopper for Solar, I had no clue what I was getting myself into. The platform that EnergySage provided was very easy to use and was very educational. The only down side is that a vendor can quote you anything to get you to commit to them. Then they come out to do the Site Survey and it all changes…the price goes way up!!”

“EnergySage helped us get 5 competitive bids with very little effort in very little time. We are now under contract with one of the companies for the exact quoted price given on EnergySage. The general price estimates from EnergySage for our area turned out to be accurate, and the tool was a big help in getting a good price on a quality system. Prior to using EnergySage, door-to-door companies were quoting us much higher prices for the same equipment.”

“Learning enough about solar and obtaining and comparing bids on all the critical factors is daunting. Solar sales reps want to be your sole source of all solar information and that is dangerous since they are not impartial, and in my experience, not even well informed sometimes. EnergySage facilitated me getting 7 bids in just a few days with only having to input some basic data and WITHOUT having to listen to 7 hour long sales pitches. I strongly endorse using EnergySage to help you get educated on solar and help you find and choose the best contractor and equipment for you. I liked being able to see all of the bids compared side-by-side on numerous basic criteria. Tons of additional impartial data and testing is linked to the bids. I selected my contractor with EnergySage and am happy I found their site.”

“EnergySage is well written, highly useful and highly responsive. Solar companies responded quickly to my request for information/pricing. These prices were 20% less than the companies that I had located on my own. My requests, when I reached out with questions to EnergySage, received prompt responses. Now, I am awaiting the installation of my solar panel system!”

“EnergySage provided unbiased, factual, and quick information to my search for a solar provider. I received multiple bids quickly from reputable companies, and they were easy to compare. I was never subjected to unwanted sales calls or visits from any of the companies. My one consultation with the EnergySage advisor was also really helpful to confirm my decision. There are a lot of solar calculators and websites out there that seem that they are legit but just want your contact info -- EnergySage truly lived up to the promise of being independent advisors, and was by far the most efficient way to get a lot of bids in without all the hassles. This industry has a lot of shady operators and is hard to figure out where the truth is, and EnergySage really helped me be confident in my decision to go solar.”
