“Energy sage is a great site, but not enough information is offered. This is a selling website, if you accept a bid then you're accepting a contract from the third party. When I was contacted by said party they were upset that I was shopping and not ready to accept their terms and conditions. Yet after meeting said third party we decided to sign. Regardless, it should be clear that this is a contracting site, not a shopping site.”

“EnergySage is well written, highly useful and highly responsive. Solar companies responded quickly to my request for information/pricing. These prices were 20% less than the companies that I had located on my own. My requests, when I reached out with questions to EnergySage, received prompt responses. Now, I am awaiting the installation of my solar panel system!”

“The tools on the site that help you research solar are very helpful. The tool that allows you to compare quotes is helpful. The actual process of working with the vendors was frustrating. I booked with one provider and a different salesman showed up who provided an estimate completely different from the estimate on the site. At that point, you can't really compare apples to apples. He also seemed offended that I asked him questions about the recommendation. The next vendor was better more low key, less pressure... but the quote had additional charges that were not included in the Energysage process. I booked an appointment with my advisor 3 times. The first time she was helpful. The second time, I accidentally hit the wrong button trying to accept her call and could not reach her back in any way (called, texted, emailed). I tried emailing my question but someone wrote back who said I needed to talk to my consultant. I had to re-book an appointment and wait 24 hours. When we spoke we were done in like”

“EnergySage provided unbiased, factual, and quick information to my search for a solar provider. I received multiple bids quickly from reputable companies, and they were easy to compare. I was never subjected to unwanted sales calls or visits from any of the companies. My one consultation with the EnergySage advisor was also really helpful to confirm my decision. There are a lot of solar calculators and websites out there that seem that they are legit but just want your contact info -- EnergySage truly lived up to the promise of being independent advisors, and was by far the most efficient way to get a lot of bids in without all the hassles. This industry has a lot of shady operators and is hard to figure out where the truth is, and EnergySage really helped me be confident in my decision to go solar.”

“I used EnergySage to get quotes for my solar project and I found it very helpful. They had pre screened installars in my area who gave give cost Info and were very easy to work with. I wad able to get one for my project. I told couple of my friends about energy sage and they were also very happy to work with them and got good quotes. I will use them again the future if need be.”

“The market place format was excellent. It laid out all the proposals in a way that was easy to compare. All the equipment and company data were hyperlinked to specs and ratings information. The communication was moderated by energy sage, so i didn’t have to engage directly unless i wanted to. Additionally, i was able to set up a consultation with energy sage to walk through the process and technology before i talked with the individual companies. Lastly, after I chose, energy sage took care of the notification process. Great model and should be adopted for all kinds of large purchases!”

“I would never have considered going solar if it had not been for the ease of use of EnergySage. I have had many companies visit me over the years and it has been a nightmare. False promises, high-pressure sales tactics. You get none of that with EnergySage. I actually got 5 estimates. All pretty varied, so it shows you there is not a real average in the industry. You have to navigate the type and rating of the panels, the net exchange rate for your power company, different types of financing, different batteries versus a generator, and so much more. EnergySage also assigns you to a neural advisor that you can email or have calls with at any time during the process to ask questions or get advice. Your advisor has no skin in the game so is just there to help you move through the process. All your communication with the Solar vendors should be done through the message portal on EnergySage up until the time you have signed your contract and secured and signed your finance agreement. This way your private information is held private until you have a legally binding agreement with your chosen solar vendor. You can be assured that any vendor giving an estimate on EnergySage is a quality vendor or they would not be allowed to quote on here. I have now chosen my vendor, who is ESD, and has been a dream to work with so far, secured and signed my PACE financing. Supplied my photos to go to the design engineers. If anything changes in the process I will update my review Dr. Kristi”
