“EnergySage was super helpful in both researching the equipment and options in installing solar on our house. The bid process was also great in terms of quickly soliciting a number of bids, providing a very thorough side-by-side comparison of all the bids, and doing so in a calmer way than the barrage of cold-calls solicited by other home improvement aggregators (you can choose whether or not to give out your phone #/email, or just coordinate through energysage directly. Once we were ready to select our installer, clicking the button auto-informed the other bidders that they weren't chosen.”

“I registered with Energy Sage as a beginning step in finding a reliable company that could best inform me about a solar power installation on our property, understanding my contact information would only be given to companies that would provide me with all needed information as well as installing all work themselves. The registration process was very doable and at no cost to me. As a result of registering, I received 2 quotes. Watts Up Engineering most appealed to what I was looking for and I made contact with its owner. I was very satisfied and impressed with the initial phone conversation and an on-site was scheduled. I was even more impressed during the on-site visit and opted with my wife to contract for the installation of a solar system. I am grateful for having had Energy Sage's help in finding the company we are working with and would recommend Energy Sage as a starting resource in exploring solar energy options.”

“Energy Sage helped navigate multiple vendors for the most beneficial products and prices without the hassle of a salesforce calling and emailing constantly. Before EnergySage I received an independent bid from a vendor for 2x the amount that the same vendor bid thru EnegrySage. Be careful out there, EnergySage is a wise choice.”

“I think that you should be more aware of some of the business practices of the solar contractors. For example, in my first round of quotes, one of them quoted a battery system which I was prepared to accept, but when I asked him about that price, he said the price did not include a full battery system. So, I dumped him and went to the next company. They did a very bad job of explaining their process (which turned out to be byzantine) and they inundated me with paperwork. Their proposed panel orientation design was convenient for them but would have reduced the power output by 30%. They kept asking for additional payments, including (incredibly) over $30k to replace portions of my roof, which I immediately rejected partly because the roof is still under warranty.”

“I am very happy with my experience with EnergySage. I started as a novice and ended up having very good knowledge about the solar installation process. I received multiple bids and my energy advisor was available to walk me through the differences in the bids. Once I settled on which company to go with the process was surprisingly quick. The panels are on my roof and the EV charge is in my garage!”
