Saw this and decided to give it a try. Positives, easy user interface, straight forward instructions, options with explanations, and the lowest cost from the search providers I tried. I like the fact that it lets you see both advertised price and calculated based on actual usage. Also liked that it gave an appropriate warning that the plan was for only six months and did not include higher usage months. The only downside was it did not like my VPN and required closing VPN to allow access, which I would prefer not to have to do.

You have a phone # listed with each offer but when you call, you only get endless music. I finally gave up and changed my mind and did the online sign-up, but would have preferred to speak to a live person. Have an announcement regarding business hours or just say that sign up is online only. I waited 10+ minutes and waisted time. For people less savvy regarding energy labels and how to pick a plan, a live rep to talk to is missing in your business model. Yes, you can try to bot everything but a cetain segment of consumers will still prefer to talk to a live person before they sign up with a plan.

Energy Bot seems like a reasonable tool to help find an enrgy supplier. If I don't receive a ton of Spam generated by the sharing of my information, then I might rate them higher. Too early to tell.

The navigation of the web site to pick an energy provider was straight forward. THe problems started after that...EnrgyBot website said all further correspondance would come from the energy provider (Energybot is just a broker - my term) and within 10 minutes. Two days later and I never received and have not received anything from the provider (not in SPAM either), the provider is New Wave Energy. They said I would receive a contract from EnergyBot - no such thing indicates that anywhere. So I am left to make sure the switch to a new provider happens within x billing cycles, and then track my termination - to hopefully see if I can find an energy broker/provider that actually knows what is going on, provides accurate information, and has a reasonable price. To top it off this survey has questions that are irrelevant to the issue - like was my delivery on time, who made the delivery, and was it damaged. This is obviously a company that needs to get more scrutiny in the operations from the senior management team. As any executive stakeholder would not want their company to run like this - even as a start up. Revised update: EnergyBot worked with New Wave to address the situation and followed up numerous times to ensure all "issues" were corrected. I was impressed by the overall follow up by Energy Bot to ensure the processing problems were corrected. Great customer service on the follow up, hence my update of this review - to ensure fairness.

Overall, signing up went well, was friendly. I was wondering about making sure my deposit was waved so I called vs. clicked. After about a 10 minute hold, the rep answered my question but said it would probably be easier to enroll online. So I did.... Maybe if you prefer the self-service channel, make a note or additional click somewhere that you'll run a credit check. All worked out though. Service should be transferred today 8/26/24.

It made the process of selecting an energy provider very easy! I will definately use Energy Bot again. However, it would be great to see a greater selection of providers in the future.
