“Everything proceeded smoothly. App works great to ensure that charging only happens if and when I want it to. I have left the charger set up to only charge while on the cheap Octopus Go rates, but will also allow it to charge when there is excess solar available.”

“The EO ordering process was slick and professional and was administered by helpful and professional staff. 10/10. The installation by Scott Electrical Ltd of Leeds was carried out promptly and efficiently and Paul and his colleague had an excellent knowledge of the product. They could not have been more helpful and they explained things in great detail, including associated software issues. Both were knowledgeable and extremely effective. 10/10.”

“Does a good job of basic charging with timer but the app has limited functions and I can't see any way to link smart features like IFTTT”

“The mini pro 2 is very easy to use but the app that goes with it could be improved quite a lot to add detail and logging. It would be very useful to know what the plans are for the app and when new features can be expected.”

We're currently working in the background on a big update to our app which will feature a host of new options and we will do our best to keep all customers updated. “Compact unit (EO Mini Pro) and clean install. However, it’s still not working. Hopefully can be sorted quickly but frustrating it wasn’t working immediately and requires another engineer visit”

“I’m very impressed with my new EO mini Pro 2 charger it’s compact size functional paired back design has resulted in a very smart looking install. Whilst I’m currently only using it to charge the relatively small battery in my BMW 330e at around 3KW/h it offers future proofing for 7KW and solar generation. Much safer and nicer to live with than the three pin set up it replaced especially with young children around. Only slight fly in the ointment is the APP it is a bit clunky and basic although as the car app does all the scheduling I’m not sure I’ll need to use the EO app much. The charger is itself feels good quality and is simple to use.”

“As I expected the charger is compact and smart in more ways than one! In fact given my home electricity setup I did not require the load balancing feature so saved some money. As mine is a tethered one it really does require a separate hook for the able/plug otherwise when plugged i to the charger it does become a very large bulky view which was not my requirement. Charging itself is great and I get even 8kwh as the app reports. The app is a little limited imo. Many aspects are manual like SOC and actual charge % or miles limit per charge rather than time.”
