“I ordered two small items for my oven - a bulb and a tool to remove the cover. The bulb arrived reasonably quickly, all be it, in a box large enough to accommodate twelve bulbs, but no mention of the removal tool. Don't try ringing on any of published numbers as no one answers. I eventually spoke to someone on their 'live chat' facility who explained that the tool was not despatched as faulty. He assured me that a new batch was due in and I would be notified by email when mine was being sent out. Of course, nothing has happened . I then sent an email and received a response stating that 'they normally respond within 48 hrs'. and provided a unique ticket number to use in further enquiries. After 72hrs+ nothing from them. Unique number is worthless as you cant contact anybody. Dreadful customer service. I only awarded one star as there is no facility to award no star.”

“Web site very useful, plus how-to videos. Ordered a washing machine pump which was in stock and paid the additional charge for next-day delivery. No sign of it after a couple of days, so rang them. Apparently the whole batch was defective! These things happen, but absolutely no excuse not to keep your customer informed. Was told that a new batch had arrived the day before I called; just had to be checked and then it would be sent out. I rang again the following week - still not been checked. Bought from Argos Spares online and had it in my hands about 16 hours later! Called eSpares to cancel the order. Bear in mind this was 10 days after first ordering the part and, other than the auto-confirmation of order email, they didn't contact me once. I've been generous and given 2 stars, only because I have had good service from them previously.”

“I left a request for a part on their web site twice. It states they will contact you within 48hrs. That didn’t happen and instead I purchase my washing machine bearing kit from another site. Last time I will use espares. Unhappy Yorkshire man”

“I had tried to buy a 4 compartment cutlery drawer for our small size dishwasher, but it proved difficult; and this was perfect. The delivery was very quick. All in all I have been very pleased with the service.”

“Best vacuum tool I've found for vacuuming up pet hair - it's the Universal Vacuum Cleaner Screw Fit Dustmaster Lint Tool – 30mm to 37mm. Brilliant. You just have to remember that when you pull back, that's what collects the fur, so just vacuum the floor fairly firmly, backwards and forwards, and you'll see all the fur being collected. Fur-free carpets and upholstery! It's a good workout, too! Make sure you measure your own vacuum hosing to make sure it will fit before you buy it.”
