Had an awesome trip! Was super fun and met some really great people. I liked that we didn’t have to worry about all the logistical stuff and there was a nice mix of planned activities vs. freedom to do our own thing. Our tour leader Jess was super organised and always happy to help with literally any question. Could tell she wanted us all to have the best time! Most of the hostels we stayed at were really great too, though a couple were not in the best areas/were not as good. The trip is super fast paced so really good for getting a little taste of everything but not as good if you want to get the full feel of a place

Hi Holly, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. We're so pleased to hear you had such a brilliant trip and met some lovely people along the way! It’s great to know you enjoyed the balance between the planned activities and having the freedom to explore at your own pace. Jess will be thrilled with your kind words :) We appreciate your feedback on the hostels too. We're always working to make sure our accommodation choices offer both comfort and a great location so this is really helpful. Thanks again for travelling with us. We'd love to have you join us on another adventure soon! Best wishes, The Euroventure Team

If you are going to party as a young adult this is probably not for you. However a great guide for seeing some amazing landmarks across europe and some well located hostels is why I have scored this so high. Tour guide was very good bar from being told off for being too noisy (like hostels aren’t noisy normally) as someone in the group had told the tour guide instead of handling it himself. I was left out of the group and felt I was judged by the others for having a personality. But I guess that’s due to luck of the draw. Amazing itinerary though and would do it again individually with a friend not with an organised group.

Hi Hamish, Thank your review and I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the central location of the hostels and the itinerary :) We would love to welcome you on another European trip and can easily organise a solo trip with just you and a friend, so don't hesitate to get in touch again! Best wishes, Vasco

Our tailor made trip by train covering 5 European cities and 2,500 miles hit our brief and was excellent. All but one of the hotels were very conveniently placed near the train station and the connections were well planned so that even with a couple of delayed trains we never missed a connection.

This was my first experience of booking a trip with Euroventure, and it certainly won't be the last. Worked closely with me to flesh out itinerary, and provided bookings in high quality hotels. Overall Trip was excellent value for money. The one issue I had were some of the directions to the hotel location were not as clear as thet could have been. However, I received a positive response to my feedback.

Hello Anthony, Thank you for taking the time to share your lovely review! We're so pleased to hear that your first experience with Euroventure was a positive one and that you were happy with both the itinerary and the quality of the hotels. It’s wonderful to know you felt the trip offered excellent value for money. We do strive to keep our travel packs up to date, and with hundreds of pages of information, we recognise that sometimes details can be missed. We’re sorry for any confusion caused by the hotel directions, but we’re glad our team was able to address your concerns promptly. We truly appreciate your understanding and look forward to helping you plan your next adventure with Euroventure!

I did a custom self guided tour and the Western Europe group tour and overall had a good time on both trips! Catherine was very responsive and great at helping organize my self guided tour. As my first time solo travelling, the instructions for hostels and transportation were very easy to follow. The cities of the group tour were well chosen and majority of the hostels were nice but there were a couple that should be changed. Our tour guide Tom was a nice and friendly person but wasn’t what I was expecting as a tour guide. He wasn’t super enthusiastic, organized, or have the best communication skills. We often used google maps and trainline to get information on where we were going. I preferred the self guided tour as the tour guide didn’t make much of a difference for me. But it was a great opportunity to meet so many amazing people in my group!

Hi Madi, Thank you for your review! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed both the custom self-guided tour and the Western Europe group tour. It’s wonderful that Catherine was helpful in organising your self-guided trip, and we’re pleased that the instructions for navigating hostels and transport were clear. We also appreciate your feedback on the group tour. It’s great to know that you enjoyed exploring the cities and connecting with the other travellers, although we’re sorry to hear that the tour leader's role didn’t quite meet your expectations. Our tour leaders primarily focus on ensuring smooth and efficient travel between destinations, rather than providing a traditional guided experience. Thank you once again for sharing your thoughts, and we look forward to welcoming you on another adventure soon! Best wishes, Eve

I had a great time on my trip, I loved each of the destinations we visited in their own way & met some really lovely people, which helped me feel at home in the group setting! Unfortunately, I feel the pre planned activities were often underwhelming, and it would have been nicer to spend longer in some places, for example Vienna, instead of only having 24 hours there. Whilst I can appreciate the demographic of this tour is 18-35, I do feel the age range on my tour was too broad and felt this did impact on the overall group setting, sometimes leading to awkward situations for almost everyone. On the whole, I would recommend this trip for anyone wanting to interrail who isn't sure where to start. It was a great way to tick some places off my bucket list, and I would do it again in a heart beat!

Hi Lauren, Thank you for your review! We're really happy to hear that you had a great time on your trip and enjoyed all of the destinations. It's also wonderful that you felt at home within the group and were able to meet lovely people along the way. We appreciate your thoughts about the included activities and the time spent at each destination. We aim to choose the best must-do activities in each city, such as a Gondola ride in Venice and a tapas cooking class in Barcelona. Your feedback is important to us, and we’ll be using it to fine-tune things. In fact, we’ve decided to extend the time in Vienna for our 2025 group tours! Our group tours are specifically designed for travellers aged 18-35, and this age range is outlined on our website. However, we appreciate your feedback and will take it into account as we work to continually improve our tours and foster the best possible group experience. Thank you again for recommending the trip and sharing your experiences. We're thrilled that you enjoyed ticking off some bucket list destinations, and we’d love to welcome you back on another adventure soon!

The actual trip in itself was so good, met the best people and the cities were so well chosen. I would say the tour guide Tom wasn’t overly helpful or enthusiastic, he checked us into hostels and was friendly but I wouldn’t say having a tour guide there was essential. Would definitely do this again in an organised group but maybe more self guided!

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed the trip, met some great people, and loved the cities on the itinerary! We're sorry to hear that the Tour Leader didn’t meet your expectations. Tom has been leading our tours for years and has always been known for his enthusiasm and helpfulness, so your feedback is really important to us. We’ll investigate this with him to understand what happened, as he typically engages with the group in his free time as well as performing his duties as a tour leader. As outlined on our website, the leader’s role is to take you from point A to B—such as from the train station to the hostel, or from the hostel to an activity. They are not a tour guide and do not arrange city tours. Instead, our leaders are there to co-ordinate your journey, ensuring you have someone to turn to with any questions during your travels. We aim to offer a balance between support and freedom, with our tour leaders handling the logistics while allowing travellers to explore at their own pace. If you choose to travel with us again, we’d love to help you find the right balance of structure and flexibility to make your next adventure even more enjoyable. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to welcome you back soon!

Trip for myself has been really good. Few minor things that I experienced was that some of the fellow travellers behaviour and attitude towards other people at times rude, disrespectful and selfish. Tour guide Catherine was amazing. Very understanding and helpful I would highly recommend using euroventure group. Thanks for the experience.

We will take this feedback into consideration as we continue to strive for a positive and inclusive environment on our trips. We were so happy with our trip. It was our first time staying in hostels but all of them were so nice and in such good locations so we always had things like shops near us. During our trip we went to several cities and we were so impressed at how it was organised as by the time we got to another city we could drop our bags at our hostel and go again. The only reason it isn't a 5 is because our last trip involved 2 long trains and we know we could of got a direct train but this by no means would stop me using Euroventure again. I also loved our little travel pack and all the info and tips we received, plus when I had to change our trip dates the staff were so accommodating and helpful. I would definitely recommend traveling with Euroventure!

Hi Emma! Thank you for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear you had a great trip and enjoyed your first hostel experience. It's great to know that the locations were convenient for you. 🛏️🌍 We aim to make your travel as smooth and hassle-free as possible, so it's fantastic to know our efforts are hitting the mark. We appreciate your feedback regarding the train routes. We always strive to provide the most efficient travel options that fit with your travel preferences. If there was a direct train available at the time of booking that was more efficient, our team would have booked this for you, but we will take your comments into account in order to improve our service. It's great to hear that you found our travel pack so useful, and that our staff were accommodating when you needed to change your trip dates. Thank you once again for recommending Euroventure. The booking process was easy however I paid in full at time of booking then received a email to say I hadn’t paid anything. At the time of booking I also informed them of my dietary requirements and also replied to their email when they asked if I had one but when I was on the trip they claimed they didn’t know. Luckily my tour leader was incredible as she was able to sort it out for me. Cristina is an amazing tour guide and a credit to the company, It was her first trip but she was outstanding. Although she was still learning along the way she was so organised and I wouldn’t have wanted to do this trip with anyone else. Cristina is so kind and caring and always ensures everyone is happy and having a good time, she is always sending important information in the group chat so we know the train times etc and she makes sure we all get back to the hostel safely too if we decided to leave the group activity early. Some of the trains are small and there isn’t always a place to put luggage but that’s just one of those things and not a reflection on Euroventure.

Hi there, Thanks so much for taking the time to leave such a nice review. We’re really happy to hear that you had a great time on your group tour and will pass on your kind comments to Cristina as well. I’m sorry to hear though that you weren’t as impressed with the admin side of things in the build up to your trip. We know that your communication with us before the trip, is as important as being on the trip itself and want to ensure that you’re happy with every part of your Euroventure experience. As such, I’ve reviewed all correspondence between yourself and Euroventure to see how we can take your comments on board and improve. Unfortunately, I’m unable to find any examples of where you stated your dietary requirements upon booking, in the medical form or in response to my email prior to the trip. After finding this information out on the trip, we contacted all of the relevant activity suppliers and hostels to ensure that you had a suitable vegetarian option available throughout the rest of your tour. Apologies too with the confirmation email you received, and any confusion caused in regards to the payment of your group tour. I can see that Lauren sent you an updated email confirming you’d paid your trip off in full shortly after you received the confirmation email. Thank you again for nice words about the trip and your helpful feedback overall, and hopefully we’ll speak with you again soon about another Euroventure trip! Best wishes, Alex

We booked a Spain/Portugal trip for our honeymoon (which turned into our one year anniversary trip because Euroventure graciously remained flexible considering the rapidly changing travel restrictions at the time.) We stayed in a total of six hotels, three of which were very nice. The Petit Palace Alcala in Madrid, Best Western Hotel Dom Bernardo in Faro, and the Inn Rossio were particularly nice. The Duquesa Hotel in Seville was disappointing however; we discovered it was one where we were supposed to have received a code to get in the building (which we never received.) We pressed a button outside the building and the lady kept referring to email before ignoring us... there was no email. Someone who was already staying there let us in, and there was nobody at the counter to help. We rang the bell again and the lady claimed we need to use the same code we got in with. After a frustrating twenty minutes someone finally came down with an email printed out with our room number and code. We got into our room and structures like lights in the wall were barely hanging on (the faucet to the sink came right off.) So maybe take that place off the rotation? Otherwise, the experience is one we will treasure for many years. I think the next time we travel we might make our own accommodations, but we learned a lot from this trip and appreciate everything Euroventure did to take our minds off the planning.

Hi Katie, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review, and congratulations! I hope you had a special trip. We wanted to make your trip as special as possible, so we're very sorry to hear that your experience at The Duquesa Hotel wasn't the best. We always have great reviews for this hotel, which is why we picked it especially for your honeymoon, we also would have been more than happy to help resolve this issue with the code if we had known at the time. Our emergency number is open 24/7 for you, so if you do have any trouble in the future, we are always here to help! We do appreciate your feedback and will be taking this all on board. We're so glad to hear that you both had a memorable trip, and it was our pleasure to plan it all for you! Hopefully we can plan another anniversary trip for you both in the future. All the best, Teya

Had an absolutely wonderful time, and met the most amazing people. The hostels we stayed in were all nice, our group tour leader Vera was also lovely. Some of the group activities were not that great/different to the ones advertised but alot of them were also really good. I think it would have been more time efficient to travel in the evenings where possible as alot of full days were taken up by travel, as we started in the mornings and would arrive early evening, leaving not too much time to do anything either side. We also did unfortunately not get to experience a sleeper train. But of course, overall I had an amazing experience and now feel like I have the confidence to do this kind of thing by myself or with friends. I would recommend this tour to people wanting to travel who don't want to go alone, as I felt much safer travelling with the group and having people to do things with.

Hey Ella, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review and we're really happy to hear you had such a great time on your group tour! Just to respond to some of your other comments - in relation to some of the activities being different, sadly some of these had to be changed at the beginning of the year as a result of COVID affecting some of the suppliers. Some of those kinds of activities, like pub crawls, are starting to become an option again after the widespread relaxation of COVID restrictions making them much more feasible; so we hope that if you travel again with us in the future, these will be an option for you! Similarly, the pandemic sadly caused some train companies to fold, which means that certain trains - including your scheduled sleeper train - currently no longer exist. Whilst this is out of our control, we hope that you enjoyed your extra night in Venice in place of the night train. We also understand your point made about travelling in the evening to your next destination. The train times we use are based on years of experience, customer reviews and feedback and of course the train schedules themselves. We find that travelling earlier in the day is the most efficient and least time-consuming way to travel to your next destination on your tour, allowing you to make the most of each city you visit. That being said, we will of course take your comments on board and really value your suggestion in regards to this. It's so great to hear you now have the confidence to travel more solo or with some of your friends - that's exactly the platform we want our group tours to be used for! Remember, that when you are ready to book your next trip - solo or as part of a group - you'll also now be eligible for our returning customer discount! Best wishes, Alex

Just came back from the 8 days, fun filled Iron Curtain tour. My very first backpacking tour and very glad to have booked with Euroventure. They took the hassle of booking accomodations & transfers for me. I specially liked that there was equal time for group activities and for roaming around solo. Kev, our tour leader said we can do the activities we want and I took that to heart lol. Roamed around solo with confidence knowing that he was just a Whatsapp message away for any queries. Hostels - within city center, clean, accomodating staff Tranfers - within walking distance from hostels, reserved seats (very important) Tour - organized with enough time to explore each cities, equal opportunities for group and individual activities. All in all, very much recommended.

I had a fantastic time from the trip booked with Euroventure. The booklet as well as the information I received regarding my trip was clear and easily understood. It was my first time in continental Europe and they made it so convenient for me to travel to different cities without worrying about organising my travel and accommodation. Accommodation in different cities can be good or bad depending on the place, but most hostels in my trip were generally good. This also applies to travel (by trains) where most trains (except one - the night train) were really good. When I had a problem with one of the trains - I contacted them about the issue and received a really friendly response, as well as a refund on that part very quickly. I would definitely be using Euroventure again for my future European trip. I'm just hoping that they will add more routes on their 2-week set trips.

Hey Baramee, thanks for the great review! I am glad that overall you had a great trip and that you would like to use Euroventure again - remember you get £100 off per returning customer! We can also edit the routes on any of the set trips to suit your preferences now that you have had a taste of what Europe has to offer! I am sorry that not every hostel was up to scratch - we do check the hostels we partner with but are aware that after COVID, things changed a little for a few of them. We really appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our service!

Was very easy to plan and all accommodations were lovely and helpful including an upgrade to a 4 star hotel on the first night! One minor issue with the final accommodation that automatically charged me for two nights though this had already been paid but the accommodation has refunded me instantly. Another issue when our train hit a car on a crossroad but we got to Vienna in the end! One thing I would suggest is for Euroventure to put more information into the itinerary booklets (e.g. room types, website, email of accoms) and also to check that the directions and train times are up to date (our tickets showed different times to what was shown on the booklet and almost caused us to miss a train), this did cause a bit of confusion but it was all sorted in the end. All in all I would happily book another holiday should the faults be polished out!

For first time independent travellers (like us) we’d recommend euroventure as everything was sorted out for us (tickets and hostels) but there was still plenty of freedom. It saved the hassle of spending hours searching for trusted hostels. It was probably more expensive than doing it ourselves but at least we knew it was safe. The hostels were safe and on the whole good although our preferences of ‘central and single sex dorms’ were rarely met. The train journeys planned for us were at convenient times and the route was perfect. However we had many issues with seat reservations as we were told by euroventure that they weren’t compulsory but some trains we had major issues with seating and were told by the staff at the station that we couldn’t reserve beforehand without paying and some trains they tried to kick us off. However apart from that the trains were good. The recommendations of things to do in the guide were helpful although a lot were out of budget for travellers so might need adapting. Directions to hostels were helpful.

Euroventure were fast at replying and every question I had they answered very confidently! They helped us create our dream inter-rail and helped keep it cheaper. The hostels we stayed in were all in good condition and all had friendly and helpful staff, our favourite being either Ginger Hostel, Krakow, or Circus Hostel, Berlin, as these hostels were modern and felt very clean! Thank you!
