“I tried to buy from shops but the ones I tried in the area I was on holiday in didn't have the quality I wanted. The women's sizes ended at 18 even on line. I bought a Berghaus XXL in stratus pants which are long for me at 5ft 4". I will put bands round if I need them. The Berghaus speed hydro jacket also XXL is ideal. A zip which opens at the bottom would help. Breathability is good. I have not tried waterproof quality yet but a friend is happy with his Berghaus jacket which is the same fabric as the pants.”

“Great service from field and trek but you were let down by your courier service as they said they attempted delivery but they couldn't have done as I was in and they also said they left a calling card and they never! When I contacted their customer service department they said that they could see from the drivers mapping system that he came close to my house but may have left the card at the wrong address! I had to collect my items from their customer service centre! Poop service from Yodel!”

“Hi there, I am happy with my shopping experience Field&Trek.com; it has secured paying system and fast handling process. It also offers good-quality products with competitive price. Unfortunately, it is not the case with the courier service (DHL International, in my case). The courier had dropped off the package at the wrong address (at 2/1 Passfield Street, while mine is 2/1 Allard Street)! I didn't know about this until the senior resident of 2/1 Passfield Street came to my house and delivered the package by herself. Despite I am glad that our package has arrived safely, it is inconvenient to know that I have bothered others somehow. You may wish to convey this unhappy experience with DHL so that it will not happen again (to anyone) in future. Thanks. Cheers.”

“I have been buying kids' clothes and shoes for a while now, as well as adult walking shoes. I have generally been pleased with most of the purchases but find that the sizing of the children's clothes varies a lot. Two fleecies I bought did not fit the 9 and 10 year olds I had ordered them for but I kept them to give in presents to younger children. Recently I bought two jackets and again they are on the small side. Fortunately, I can usually find one of my young relatives that these can fit. Otherwise I might have sent some of these back. The adult trainers I have bought have been good value for money.”

“Very good serviced from Field and Trek. Very pleased with the Gelert pop up tent however the folding up instructions were not clear and two of us had really problems and resorted to a U-Tube video by another supplier. The explanatory pictures should have been a lot bigger larger - and ideally printed on one side of the outside of the tent bag. Described as a 'two man tent' but be hard to get another person over six foot alongside my 6'3" son.”

“I was very disappointed to find I had to pay £4.99 to used "Click and Collect" for a £14 item. All the other companies where I use this service do not charge. Unfortuately I want this item shortly and was therefore prepared to pay but I shall not use Field and Trek again.”

“Not a patch on the F&T panniers I have used for 20 odd years. New purchase is flimsy and rivets have broken on first use. Not designed to be attached and removed on each journey obviously. If I had paid full price I would be returning it but I will use temporarily while I repair the old panniers.”
