Have recently purchased a house with the help of Tarek and Callum. Nothing was too much trouble and any questions I had they answered straight away. They have been professional and helpful the whole way through and I can't explain how much their help has put my mind at ease. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Paul and Lewis were brilliant. Thanks to them I was able to get a mortgage which I never thought I would be able to this soon. Always answered my questions and kept me informed. Both a credit to the company.

Paul was there throughout the whole process and helped make what would have otherwise been a very complex situation straight forward and a lot easier. Advice was really good and we never felt we were being a nuisance despite ringing quite often! Highly recommended if you have a complicated situation to sort out like we had.

As a first time buyer I was not familiar with the mortgage process so contacted Finance Advice Centre with regards to a broker. Lynn Cutts then contacted me to discuss options due to living abroad for the past 8 years there was a number of conditions which needed to be satisfied. Lynn found a suitable lender and ensured that I had all the information I required to make a decision. Lynn was professional throughout the process and expedited every process to ensure that we hit all the required milestones. Lynn is extremely knowledgeable in a number of areas including insurance and she was able to provide me with an excellent package for life insurance. I highly recommend Lynn as an advisor. Kayleigh Tunnicliffe was Lynn's assistant throughout the process and she was also excellent throughout. Kayleigh expedited certain processes to support Lynn and I could not have asked for a better service. Any questions or queries I had Kayleigh ensured that I had the information to hand to ensure a smooth process. Overall both were fantastic and a delight to deal with.

After being turned down by the mainstream lenders we were at a total loss, after already having had our house offer accepted - Finance Advice Centre took up our case immediately and went through everything with us step by step. Tarek Webster spent 2 days ensuring we had all our documents in order and presented ready to go to the lenders, and whilst it took nearly a month to complete (subject to the lender's checks etc), him and Callum Doherty kept in contact all the way through, resassuring us and relating any information back immediately so we could address any additional requirements. Even thoughtful enough to call us the evening they had the approval decision through, so as not to keep us waiting an extra night. Other colleagues helped arrange our buildings and contents insurance and were able to do all the paperwork for our completion date without us having to do anything, which again helped smoothe out the process. In the beginning we were chancing our luck using a service we found online and were at first sceptical, however after 2 hours of calls and emails on a Saturday afternoon we knew we had found a broker with impecible customer service and a really personalised experience. Thank you guys so much for everything - will definately be recommending to friends and family and honestly no need to worry for any one concerned at finding online! We now have our first home to start our lives in.

Received excellent advice from Nick Gill on what was the best mortgage for me for a BTL type Mortgage. Subsequent dealings with respect to necessary documentation were all done in a short period and offer secured rapidly.

FAC recommended me to Lynn Cutts who was absolutely amazing. She is very efficient and does her job to absolute perfection. She also has Kayleigh who is her admin who follows up very well. They both are prompt in answering any doubts we have and it's them who chase us for any information they need. If there is anyone who says to me they are looking to buy a house, I would just ask them to talk to Lynn!

I found Finance Advice Centre on the Internet whilst searching for a specialist in self-employed mortgages. We were planning on moving home but was unsure who would give us a mortgage. My husband had only been self employed for a short time so our application was very complicated. Jeannette was assigned to us as the perfect one for the job. She contacted us and talked us through our options. We agreed to speak again in a couple of months so Jeannette put us in her diary. Two months later she emailed me to see if we had decided to put our house on the market. We hadn't but appreciated another good chat about how much we wanted to borrow etc. after that Jeannette left it with us to contact her when we were ready. A few months went by and we finally put the house for sale. We contacted Jeannette by email and told her our position. Our home sold very quickly and we were also lucky enough to find the home of our dreams within a few days. We left our second viewing and immediately phoned Jeannette from outside the house! She answered her mobile despite it being 7pm! From that moment on Jeannette was with us every step of the way. Completing forms, chasing the mortgage offer, reassuring us that everything would be fine. We received constant updates and communication which usually felt like immediate responses to our emails. We felt looked after. Our sale was a little complicated and took some time to arrange exchange and completion. Jeannette and her staff were involved to the end, chasing the solicitors and estate agents. We move this week and I can honestly say I would not of done it without Jeanette's help. She has been with us all the way (nearly 15 months) and when ever there has been a worry or problem she had stepped in. The advice we've beeen given has been fantastic and she even managed to get us a great rate with a top high street lender despite us having a shortage of accounts. Thank you to Jeannette and her fantastic team - I will definitely use you again and would recommend Finance Advice Centre to anyone looking for a financial advisor.

The last time I moved was 16 years ago and didn't really know what to expect from a mortgage advisor. I found Jonathon (Hunting) very helpful, assertive, encouraging (when things were getting drawn out) very trustworthy and a pleasure to speak to on a daily basis. Nothing was too much trouble, be it, ringing the estate agents explaining the position we were in, chasing up money that I had paid for a survey I didn't need and always available to talk to if I needed anything such as advice or other info. I was extremely satisfied with Jonathon as my advisor, more than happy with the advise and recommendations he offered. More than courteous and polite throughout the whole mortgage finding up to completion.

My husband and I first contacted the FAC in June 2016, we were looking to move house and due to the fact I had been made bankrupt in 2012 we wanted to give ourselves the best possible chance of obtaining a mortgage. We were put in touch with Paul Cross who is a mortgage and protection adviser, from the very start we felt like we were in good hands. Paul talked us through the whole process and gathered the information needed, we were thrilled to learn that there was a good chance of getting a mortgage and we started the ball rolling. Over the next couple of weeks we supplied Paul with all the information he needed and he kept us fully up to date with the different products which might be available to us. There were quite a few issues with my credit report not being updated properly and Paul was brilliant at advising me how to get these entries changed, Paul also kept a close eye on any other potential issues and so many times found these and I was able to rectify them before they became a problem for us. We never had any lenders or products forced on us, we were always consulted as to which way was going to be best for us and we certainly had many options. Due to Pauls experience in this field he has built up some close relationships with different lenders, he has personal working relationship with the people who work for these lenders especially those who are open to customers with previous credit problems. Paul is able to phone up and have an open conversation with a real person about your personal circumstances, never once did we feel like we were just another client, we felt like someone was listening to our story and explained our position. We put our house up for sale and it sold very quickly, we found a beautiful house and put in an offer. Paul began the process of putting in an official mortgage application and we provided everything they asked for, due to Pauls earlier diligence all our credit reports and financial statements looked great and ready to go. I think I spoke to Paul almost everyday for a while and I was never made to feel like I was bothering him or asking stupid questions, when the mortgage company needed extra information and I would get a little frustrated Paul was amazing at explaining why and keeping me positive. When Paul took a family holiday we were left in the capable hands of Lewis Hammond a Senior Administrator, Lewis really was amazing, it was really obvious that he worked closely with Paul and was fully up to date with our case, Lewis also had a great relationship with the mortgage lender and spoke to them on our behalf a number of times always with a positive outcome. In September we hit a major snag which took all of us by surprise, during the final checks by the mortgage lender there was a flag which appeared on my name, due to data protection the mortgage lender could not discuss this with Paul or even ourselves, I had to obtain an official communication from a third party company explaining what the flag was which we were told would take 40 days to obtain. I must admit this almost tipped me over the edge, we were so close to being offered a mortgage and for this to happen was a major blow. This is when Paul and Lewis really came through, Paul was in constant communication with the underwriter Gemma at the mortgage company, he was in touch with me very regularly, he spoke with both sets of estate agents who were making the whole situation worse with pressure and constant phone calls and he also liaised with my solicitor. As the weeks went on I was losing hope this situation would ever be resolved, the buyers for our house were making noises that they might pull out and the house were buying was potentially going to be put back on the market. Throughout all of this negativity on my part Paul and Lewis never once gave up hope, they were so positive and always always at the end of the phone and believe me I have called them at all times of the day and night. Due to the great relationship Paul had with the underwriter I was able to speak to her directly, this was invaluable for both sides, it saved so much time and we were able to build up a relationship which you will see later really made a huge difference in the end. Finally I received the official paperwork and it transpired that I had been the victim of identity fraud 2 years ago and had a fraud marker placed against my name. I knew nothing about this, I was shock and upset, I didn't know how I was going to resolve this but as usual Paul and Lewis were on hand to advise me. I was able to clear my name and provide information asked for by the mortgage company. Due to having that personal interaction with the underwriter myself she believed in my innocence and took my case personally to the board of directors panel for approval, the underwriter was able to speak to them with a personal touch, she could talk to them about what type of people we were, our jobs, lifestyle and how this experience had effected us. When the panel asked for some more information she could come back to me directly and get this information quickly. I know that the underwriter stayed late at work and went way above what is normally expected for us which you would not get if you were to go in to a high street bank where nothing is personal. I don't think I have ever been so nervous. Paul and Lewis had done everything possible for us and all we could do was wait. Finally on the 28th October I received an email from Paul with the mortgage offer attached, I couldn't phone him for crying. All the months and hours of work had finally paid off. We moved in to our beautiful new house on Friday 18th November. We cannot put in to words how grateful we are to the finance advice centre and especially Paul and Lewis, they have changed our life, i didn't really dare to hope I could be a home owner after bankruptcy. The work that Paul and Lewis put in to our case was certainly above and beyond what is normal, I don't believe that had we gone with another company we would now be sat In our new house, I am sure another adviser would have given up a long time ago because it really was a very difficult case. We will forever be thankful we found Paul and Lewis and certainly we will be keeping in touch ready for our re-mortgage in the future. Thank you so much.

Where do I start! I accidently came across finance advice centre after I had just been turned down a mortgage through London and county mortgages and I was looking to see if I had any more options. I filled in a quick form online not really expecting much maybe just a response at some point to say yes you have options try this or no sort your life out and come back when your ready!! However within minutes I got a call back and I was appointed to Paul Coss who was absolutely fantastic from the beginning, such a friendly yet professional person, knew what he was doing, gave me hope that he would find me a mortgage and it's not the end of the road for me! He always responded to the many questions I had for him throughout the process whether it be via email or phone and it was always a prompt response, 7 or 8pm at night I would said an email and within minutes I would get a response! Nothing was ever too much trouble and being able to have contact with your mortgage advisor at all times of day certainly puts your mind at ease when your anxious!! He even made contact with me during his holiday period which to anyone is certainly going above and beyond and nobody else works outside of their 9 to 5 working hours!! It has been a rollercoaster journey for me with the lender but Paul was always on my side pushing to get things done, I was able to go to him and get him to answer the queries I had that my solicitor should have been answering and dealing with (solicitors are useless) his case handler Lewis was there to step in as well and between them they got me the mortgage they both promised they would get me at the very beginning! Everything was so easy and straightforward dealing with financial advise service, they also sorted my buildings and contents insurance and life insurance through another Paul, whom was also very friendly yet professional, and made the whole process easier for me that I wasn't having to deal with different companies to get insurance, it was all done under one roof! I literally can't thank these guys enough, financial advice centre have a great team, is well run and all work fantastically together behind the scenes! I would definitely recommend and will 100% go back to them in the future, they absolutely really do go above and beyond!! As first time buyers looking at everythi ng was a little overwhelming - Nick Gill our contact was fantastic, kept us updated throughout and instantly answered any of our queries in a personable and professional manner. After hitting a dead end with an Estate agent Mortgage Advisor, things were looking unlikely, but a quick internet search brought up the Mortgage Advice Service, so I filled out the form & hit send. From the very first contact our Advisor, Lynn Cutts, was been amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and she answered every one of our numerous questions promptly and made us feel completely at ease. She got us an amazing mortgage deal, far better than we ever imagined was possible and dealt with every aspect of the transaction with outstanding professionalism, and thanks to Lynn the whole thing was as smooth as these things can be. She made arrangements with the Solicitors, arranged our life cover, put us in touch with her colleague Paul who arranged the home insurance, every detail was covered and seamless. At every stage she was at the end of the phone keeping us up to date with the progress up to and including completion. I would (and have) recommend this service to anyone, regardless of their circumstances, and we will definitely be back in 3 years when our current mortgage deal ends. Thank you for making our home owning dreams a reality.
