“I have used tutoring company's before. Although I never had a problem, it did seem a little over the top that a company imposed a permanent cut of the ongoing fees. This company does not do that, but front loads a very modest finder fee. After that, you only pay what the tutor needs to charge, paying direct. This could save me a lot of money. The vetting of tutors is thorough and transparent. There is plenty of choice and I found a highly qualified tutor close to my home, so I am very pleased with the service.”

“George is clearly a very experienced Tutor who seems to put calmness and reassurance at the heart of his teaching. My daughter has said that George explains the Lessons in a lot more simpler way than her teachers at school and this in turn has given her not only an better understanding, but a confidence in her Maths ability.”

“Hi We booked a tutor called Niamh for Honours English (Cork - Ireland) she attended the first session and then didn't attend the next 2 scheduled sessions and left us completely in the lurch - I am looking for my money back from First Tutors we have been treated shambolically - i have emailed First Tutors and received no reply - the website is hard to navigate and i definitely would not recommend this company”

“Have used First Tutors before for my sons GCSE Chemistry and was very pleased with the tutor we found. I like the fact that you can read about the tutor first before you contact them, so you can see if they will fit with your child. Would definitely recommend.”
