“Easy to use and a good choice of tutors in all subjects”

“Really good site for finding the right tutor whose credentials are pre-checked for you. So it made it easier to choose our preferred tutor. Quite helpful that we could communicate with the tutor by email to clarify queries before committing. The ONLY downside was that we couldn't find a suitable tutor for politics as well but overall I'd recommend FirstTutors service to anyone.”

“It was easy to state what you needed the tutor for. The results of the search were relevant and there was sufficient choice regarding price, location, experience. The details about the tutors gave enough information to select the ones best suited to individual needs. Only problem was at the bottom of the screen where you send the initial contact request to the tutor. It was asking if you wanted to close it and all request would be lost. - wasn't sure of the purpose of it. Generally very good website.”

“For me personally, I was able to find suitable tutors (in terms of location and requirements) quite easily and quickly. Although I had to pay a (in my opinion) high introduction fee before I could exchange details with my first tutor, I will say that I feel that the benefits the tutoring will bring will outweigh the cost of the fee.”

“i found it easy to search for tutors in my area on this website and liked the summaries on the tutors from which I made my choice. Found it a little confusing knowing how to appoint a tutor and get the details but got there in the end. Was sorry I hadn't left feedback for all the tutors I had messaged to say I had found a suitable tutor and thank them for their prompt responses as I was then unable to get back to message them individually once I had appointed another tutor. I hadn't realised this would happen. Otherwise was happy with the website and service”

“Great way to find a tutor with the security of knowing who you are inviting into your home. Communication was very good. Website could be a little easier to navigate, but overall a great service. When I send an email I got a response very quickly.”

“On payment, I was sent the details of my chosen tutor, so that was as described. I have not needed to correspond for any reason, so I do not know how problems are dealt with.”

“Overall, a good speedy response. I selected 4 music tutors and got a reply from 2 very quickly. From this we chose a tutor who was very responsive to queries. Within a week we had organised our first lesson.”
