“Really good way to find a tutor. The choice wasn't extensive but there were two who seemed suitable within 7/8 miles. I have chosen one of them and they are proving to be excellent so far in improving my Italian!”

“I found first tutors easy to use and handy in quickly finding a tutor for my daughter. My one issue with the site is that it felt difficult to choose the most suitable tutor without speaking to them directly, yet in order to do this you need to pay for contact details - making it an expensive process if you want to speak to more than one!”

“I think the service is really good, and the tutors are good. However I had an issue with one tutor called Emma Smith, as we would arrange for a session however she would end up cancelling and would not inform me in advance or try to re arrange. She has done this plenty of times and when I explained that it was urgent and such short notice to find another tutor as I had an exam in a couple of days, she replied by saying she is busy and that I should go find another tutor. This has made me extremely upset and made me loose faith in your company, however I decided to get it another go and paid again for another tutor which I thought was a waste of money. However the tutor her name is Ehsaneh and she was extremely reliable and helpful. My concern is that you are getting professional and reliable tutors and this will bring your reputation down. Please make sure the tutors agree to the dates and stick to it otherwise next time no one will want to pay to get a tutors contact details. Thank you,”

“Its a good way to get to know tutors, but a bit slow for me to inderstand how they work. Im not British so my english is not native. I have been working with other tutoring portals who work differently. But once you do find your tutor, which I have, its fine.”

“The First Tutors website is easy to use etc.. but the problem is that once you have paid your fee to release the chosen tutors name and details you have no guarantee that the arrangements you have agreed to will be honoured. I paid the £19.99 plus VAT after agreeing tutoring but the tutor could not the honour this arrangement. I am out of pocket through no fault of my own and end up with no tutor. I have rated the website GOOD however as it is easy to use etc.. you are only as good as your tutors though and if this happens to more people, then you loose faith in the service.”

“Hi Sara canon is very good tutor and my two children liked her and they listen and pay attention to what she says in English She knows how to give lessons to their ages in a very simple way Im very grateful to know her Thank you first tutors”
