“I found my mandolin tutor via FT. As I am new to London it was difficult to find a tutor via personal contacts. The process was smooth and fast. I could start my lesson in couple days.”

“The process was straight forward but best to choose a number of tutors if you need a swift response ( I selected one initially but had no response so lossed a week or so).”

“I had tried to find a piano teacher without using the service, but the choice was limited and in the end didn't give me the options I wanted. Although at first I balked at the need to pay for an introduction, in the end I realised this is a small amount compared to the amount you would pay out in lessons and gave me a good set of choices of who I could choose. The process is still slightly random because of the limitations of choosing someone from the information they provide about themselves, but in my case it seems to have worked out fine.”

“The site was easy to use. Write up/description of tutors clear and the tutor excellent. As Lourdes has now returned to Spain will you let me know if I can be allocated a new tutor. I have had only four lessons and do not want to pay a further registration fee. Regards. Helen Byrne.”

“I found First Tutors via Google. I found the App quite good in the way it operates and tracks communications in chronological order. Also, I understand now why the App encourages you to engage with 4 potential tutors - this didn’t make sense to me at first but actually worked well - everyone communicates at different times and cadences depending upon their schedules, and by interacting with 4 Tutors it helped me choose someone that is probably well suited to my level and way of working.”
