“All very efficient and I got a local tutor. Had one lesson - so far so good ! Very smooth. I didn't give the site very good only because I couldn't find a phone number when I had a question. I am abit old fashioned and do like a number.”

“A good, well organised site. Regular emails keeping me upto date with tutors I was interested in. There should be a photo of each tutor so you know who is come into your home. Would recommend.”

“The system is very easy to use, and I like the ability to shortlist tutors that may suit our needs. This is our second time using the website. This time, It was frustrating that two of the three we shortlisted had no availability at all, despite showing as available on their profile. This wasted time. The third has just started working with my son, but seems very good.”

We do ask tutors with no availability to 'switch off' their profiles so they are not listed on our results. We're sorry to hear that two of your shortlisted tutors had failed to do so. “Good service, the only difficulty was that I was arranging tuition as a gift for my daughter who lives in a different area, and the site was recommending tutors in my area. Got there in the end, but would have been five stars had this been more straightforward.”

“I was very sceptical of paying for a tutors details before ever getting a lesson and worried about it being a scam. I hadn't heard of first tutors so I did some research. It was money well spent my daughter is in leaving cert and getting help with higher level maths. Joey our tutor so fat has been amazing. Highly recommend.”
