“Have used this site on several occasions to find tutors, which have been successful. The photos profiles and previous feed back help to determine who may suit your child's style of learning and who to contact.”

“I have found my tutor which is great, but would like other tutors to be totally honest and not advertise that they will travel when they have no intention of doing so. It wastes time all round.”

“It was very helpful to have a selection of quality tutors in my area, all showcased in one on-line location. The bio, photos and fee charged helped narrow my search. The tutor we ultimately contacted has turned out to be excellent and as advertised on First Tutors. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it is necessary to discuss locations and potential meeting places prior to hiring the tutor. Our messages kept getting blocked and/or redacted by First Tutors. That process could be easier to navigate.”

“Most tutors are uni students - so be warned they may not understand particular course specifications which can be annoying if you are trying to consolidate knowledge/receive full marks, rather than just get the right answer.”
