“First tutors is a good resource. It is helpful to be able to find different tutors offer classes at varying prices for a range of subjects. I have used this site before to find a French tutor. Perhaps the site itself could be a bit more user friendly though.”

“I really liked the website and it was very useful to see a photo of my tutor for when we met. I was a bit confused when it came to accessing my tutor's details as it wasn't clear as to why or how this could be done. There were a couple of boxes to tick so I wasn't sure but my tutor helped me with this. I liked it that I could send and receive messages through my tutor before I decided as her helpful messages helped me to decide that she was a very good sounding tutor before I paid for her details. The details about the tutor were very clear.”

“Website was fine although it was not clear (at least to me) that it was only an Introductory Service. I wrongly assumed that all tuition correspondence etc went through them from Start to Finish of the course, but this is not the case. However I am very pleased with the Tutor they provided and think it good value for money as a service provider.”

“First time user. Easy to use site. Lots of choices. I think the tutors should have DBS check to add further reassurance for parents. Feedback for tutors could be more structured. Lots of qualitative info. Found it difficult to choose and felt it was a bit of pot luck.”

“I can't compare this site with any others, because it gave me all the information I wanted so didn't try any others. So all I can say is I am very pleased with the outcome. I found a tutor that so far has proved excellent, and if I ever want to find someone to teach me anything else, this will be my first choice to search.”

“I found two suitable tutors through First Tutors. I would suggest that the way in which tutor details can be released be made more clear - this took some time to work out. Otherwise, I am very happy with my experience.”

“Okay I want to find a way to circle back. The tutor I got didn’t work out on 2 counts, not available sept oct and not a match for my learning style. I did have one session. Would you let me choose alternate tutor for the finders fee I paid ?”
