“Good selection of tutors and reviews available to help you choose a suitable person. My only criticism would be that you have to buy your tutors details in advance before you can even check their availability. I paid €15 just to get contact details without knowing if he was available when I needed the grinds. Thankfully the first tutor I tried managed to be available, however this was only because of a cancellation. Other than that there's a fee for every tutor you may need to contact.”

“The first tutors at is great at finding tutors and responses from tutors are pretty good too. only thing is for every tutor we have to pay £30 to see details. Maybe one off fee for fee tutors would make more sense as we want to try a few before finalising other than this no problems at all!”

“Have used First Tutors three times now and had three good tutors - two for my kids’ schoolwork and one for my languages. It’s a good service, letting you message the tutor first back and forth before you decide if you want to go ahead and buy their details. I prefer it to other tutor services. This site gives you more freedom. You pay the introductory fee for the tutor and then you set the rest up with the tutor directly. They send you courtesy emails to check everything is going ok. I’ve never had a problem with First tutors and would recommend them.”

“Easy to use website - have found a separate tutor for each of our three boys from First Tutors and happy with all of them so far. Really like the one off fee and then you organise everything else directly with the tutor - seems to be a very good system.”

“First Tutors has been a Godsend. We deregistered our daughter from secondary school and needed to find a Math tutor ASAP. We found one immediately with a search of the tutor directory and our daughter's tutoring has already begun. The website is easy to use and we would recommend First Tutors to anyone looking for private tutoring.”
