“Nagaraj is knowledgeable and a patience tutor. He comes prepared and he makes the student feels at ease to ask questions. He explains the concept to ensure student understands the topic before working on questions.”

“Easy to find tutors, and easy to navigate around. The only negative is that we have to pay £7.99 to CONTACT the tutor! That's a bit too much although i paid it.”

“Found First Tutors when searching online for a local maths tutor for my daughter. The site was easy to use and we were able to choose our tutor quickly and easily, there was a photo and biography which made the choice quite simple. The site followed everything up and the instructions of what to do next were easy to follow. Our tutor contacted us quickly, I was very satisfied with the service - would definitely recommend.”

“Found out tutors availability. Arranged a time for session with tutor. Paid for tutors details, then session time was changed by tutor. Had planned our day around tutor coming at certain time. Tutor then couldn't do other times they told us they were available. Paid $10 to get tutors details, ended up with no suitable time for session, waste of money. Not willing to pay again for another tutors details”

“The first meeting with Therese was wonderful. She veey was friendly and welcoming. She made me feel very comfortable. She was very polite and understanding. Her teaching approach was excellent and the preperatation for the lesson was excellent too. Throuhout the tutorial I was comfortable and relaxed”

“The website is quite basic and not as easy to use as you would hope, but it did the job and for a fee that I think was reasonable we were able to find someone who so far has been excellent. Despite the clunky website the process of communicating with the tutor, and coming to an agreement with him, went smoothly. If the website was polished up a bit I'd give 5 stars.”

“I found a good maths tutor for my son but was surprised at how much I had to pay to get her details. Some tutors cost a lot more too and it seems you pay more depending on the tutor price”

“I have used first tutors for both my sons for a variety of subjects and stages in their education-GCSE's and A levels. I have used them again recently for my youngest who needs some extra short term support with one of his university modules. I have always found first tutors to be simple but efficient to use. Everything is very clear so you can easily choose a tutor that meets your specific requirements, not only from an academic perspective but also for example, travel arrangements.”
