“Quick and easy to find a tutor . Quick response from tutors but found the email messages a bit hard to find initially. Easy process to get a tutors details and that seemed easy and reasonably priced .”

“I contacted first tutor in 2014 when my daughter needed help with 11 plus for grammar school, we met a good teacher call Moria through first tutor who helped my daughter a great deal. Now my daughter is in year 11 and needs bit of help with maths for upcoming gcse exams, so I contacted first tutor again who was happy to help us and got us in contact with a local maths teacher. my daughter had her first lesson with him this week , he seems experienced teacher and we are hopping to have similar experience and results as we had with Moria. I would recommend first tutor.”

“The website is relatively easy to navigate and find tutors, with sufficient information about the tutors to make a decision whether to contact them. However, there is room for improvement: Registration only allows the parent to register, not the student. There is no option whether I am registering for myself or my child. In order to view the tutor's contact details, the tutor has to click on the "finder's fee" button to release payment of the finder's fee and subsequent display of contact details. This confused both the Tutor and myself and required clarification from the First Tutors.”

“A fantastic site that puts you in contact with verified tutors. Reviews of the tutors make it easy to know more about the tutors. Easy and effective to use, our tutor was put in touch with us quickly and then it was easy to arrange an appointment for our son’s extra maths tuition.”

“I found the First Tutor referral system worked really well. I was able to check information in a more general way. Narrow my options down based on the information provided and then make contact with suitable Tutors. I was then able to email back and forth and find out more information before I made a final decision on the suitability of my preferred Tutor. It worked really well. Now I am locked in with a good Tutor to assist my son.”
