“Was initially tricky as when contacted by my tutor she didn't realise that she had to accept my application, and I didn't realise that I had to pay a fee before we could make plans to meet.”

“Very useful, we found a selection of tutors and chose the person who suited our needs best. some messages did not seem to get through first time via First Tutors messaging system but now we have met up we can use test directly which works better. Well qualified tutors, much appreciated help.”

“Have used First Tutors before for my sons GCSE Chemistry and was very pleased with the tutor we found. I like the fact that you can read about the tutor first before you contact them, so you can see if they will fit with your child. Would definitely recommend.”

“We only met Katie once but it was a nice meeting and my daughter decided she wants to see Katie again, which says a lot for a teenager! Katie seems flexible and build a good report. I think this was easier as Katie is still quite young and relates much better to a young person (she is not like a teacher which exactly what we were looking for) . She also is fully aware of the current Nat5 material. Many tutors worked with the old style GCSE methods which confused my daughter before.”

“Straightforward process and reasonably easy site to navigate. Some very odd behaviour when trying to do quite simple things to put times into messages (apparently they are mistaken for phone numbers) but the process was simple and effective.”
