Once you get past the hard sell First Home Improvements turned out to be a good company & my experience with them was a pleasure. Everything went smoothly from signing the contract. The surveyor turned up within the scheduled time & the windows were fitted within the contracted time by Husband & Wife team Tristan & Alison, who kept me updated with the job & arrival times if they were delayed. The after sales service has been exceptional as well. With a follow up call to see how things went & was I satisfied. During the installation 1 of the installers noticed a crack in the glass of 1 of the windows. This was replaced by the service team a couple of months later without any input from me. It was a real pleasurable experience.

This is my 3rd and final purchase/installation, I have had minor problems each time. 1st job - Chunks of metal, which flew out from under the lawn mower narrowly missing my dog. 2nd job A door handle mechanism so stiff I struggled to open and lock the door. On the most recent installation on 19th November (3 upstairs windows) one of them was "mismeasured" by the Survayer so was installed without a sill while a new window was made... I chased a week later and it was installed on 29th November. I have no issue with the quality of the Product or standard of installation but I feel the other niggles could and should have been avoided.

First install was okay but took so long Second install was good but after sales service very poor got issues with 1 window and new front door which has been reported but no action after 2 months promised more front door keys still not delivered
