“Worst Booking Experience Ever – Avoid FlightCatchers!
Do not trust this company. They use misleading ads on Momondo to lure you in with "good deals" and promises of "free ticket changes," but it is a complete scam.
I made a minor typo in my name while booking and caught it within 30 minutes. I contacted them immediately to fix it. Even though Etihad Airways offers free name changes and free cancellations within that window, FlightCatchers refused to help me without charging a massive, unjustified penalty fee. Because I booked through this third party, Etihad couldn't modify the ticket directly.
FlightCatchers is completely dishonest, lacks transparency, and hits customers with predatory fees for simple fixes. Save your money, avoid the massive headache, and book directly with the airline or use a reputable service instead.”
“Unhelpful company, my advice book direct with airline, £50 or so more perhaps for the ticket but when help is needed due to any particular circumstance they are able to resolve, this company operates with zero customer care or consideration. I was considering having to make a voluntary cancellation for genuine reasons for our flights 8 months away, so on the day i called at 16:48 I was told that I had until 17:00 to make the decision or I would also lose the tax refund and get nothing back. Literally a 12 minute deadline, an incredible coincidence or a total lie!?. As obvious as it seems it was probably a lie, with the risk of losing 2.5k as it was a large booking for 5 people and the unknown I made the decision, Clearly it was indeed a lie, shocking how a company can mislead, lie and be so underhand with customers, I have after 5 weeks received a partial rerturn of money, in the form of taxes. They operate also under the Polani brand. Book your important flights / holiday elsewhere.”
“1 Star – Avoid if you value transparency
My experience with Flightcatchers has been extremely disappointing and has left me with little confidence in their business practices.
After booking flights to Bali for my family, I realised that my daughter’s middle name had been omitted from the booking. While this was my mistake, what followed was an absolute lesson in opportunistic pricing.
I contacted Flightcatchers to have the middle name added and was initially told it would cost £150. This immediately seemed excessive for what is essentially an administrative amendment. Wanting to verify the charge, I contacted Singapore Airlines directly. Singapore Airlines informed me that they do not charge for adding a missing middle name, but because the booking had been made through an agent, the change had to be processed by Flightcatchers.
Armed with this information, I went back to Flightcatchers expecting a straightforward resolution. Instead, I was astonished to be told that the charge had now increased from £150 to £250. No sensible explanation was provided as to why exactly the same amendment had suddenly become £100 more expensive.
When I challenged this, questioning how a middle name amendment could jump from £150 to £250 overnight, the price mysteriously dropped back down to £150. This only reinforced my suspicion that the figures were being invented as they went along rather than being based on any genuine airline fee or fixed administrative cost.
The whole experience felt less like dealing with a professional travel company and more like negotiating at a market stall. The pricing appeared completely arbitrary and seemed to depend on how much they thought they could extract from a customer who was worried about their booking.
Communication was poor throughout. Responses were often difficult to understand and failed to address the simple questions being asked. Rather than providing clear, transparent information, I was met with inconsistent explanations and ever-changing charges.
What makes this particularly frustrating is that Singapore Airlines themselves confirmed there was no airline fee involved. The only obstacle was the travel agent standing between the customer and the airline.
Customers understand that genuine administration charges may apply. What customers do not expect is for those charges to increase by 67% during the course of the same conversation and then suddenly reduce again when challenged.
I have booked countless flights over many years and have never encountered anything quite like this. The experience has left me questioning the integrity of the company’s pricing practices and whether customers are being charged based on actual costs or simply on what the company thinks it can get away with.
I will not be using Flightcatchers again and would strongly recommend that anyone considering booking through them carefully reviews all details and thinks twice before relying on them for any post-booking support”
“TOTAL NEGLIGENCE: Ghost cancellations and stranded family with kids!
I would give zero stars if I could. Flightcatchers is the most incompetent and dangerous travel agency I have ever encountered.
They sold us a connected family booking that "broke" due to a schedule change, and then their "service" turned into a nightmare of misinformation. While I was at the airport with two young children, this agency sent me multiple "GHOST" cancellation emails for flights that were actually operating. They told me I "could not travel" and that my booking was "invalid," causing extreme distress and panic.
Their communication is a shambles. I was forced to pay for a 33-hour layover, hotel (10,290 TL), and taxis out of my own pocket because they failed to manage the booking correctly. They even attempted to charge me "admin fees" for a "priority rebooking" service they never actually completed. In fact, they were still emailing me "flight options" for the following day while I was already sitting in my living room in London!
They only refunded my fees after I threatened legal action and a bank chargeback. Mohammad and the team at Flightcatchers are professionally negligent, provide misleading information that violates CAA guidelines, and have no regard for the safety of families traveling with children.
DO NOT TRUST THIS AGENCY. If anything goes wrong with your flight, they will leave you stranded and feed you lies. You are better off booking directly with an airline.

“ABSOLUTE SCAM ARTISTS - AVOID AVOID AVOID
I really wish I read more reviews before booking with this sham of a company. Checked my booking and they had spelt one of my parties name wrong (added an additional letter). Rang to enquire about changing and was instantly told this would cost £300 which comprised £100 change fee and £200 difference if fare fee as my ticket would need to be reissued. This price was given instantly so there was no chance that the agent could have checked to see what the actual difference in fare would be. I rang my airline direct who informed me this was false and the fee they charge for change of details is £16. I re contacted flightcatchers and again the agent immediately quoted £300 with not time to check. I did this a third time with a third separate agent and the same result. I asked for proof of the difference of date at which point the agent became very rude over the phone basically telling me to take it or leave it.
Please be very careful with this company. Now that I have researched there are lots of reviews with very similar experiences as myself. I will be making a complaint to ABTA.”
“Don’t use this company. I had to pay additional £440 for middle names to be added to booking for 2 people but this was never actioned and I ended up being unable to check-in online because they never included the middle names. I flew under the original booking and airline has no record of a name change. Found out later via airline that middle names were not needed and could have saved me money. Unfortunately all of this happened a day before we flew and couldn’t get hold of airline beforehand to check. Hard lesson learned. Never again will I use them.”
“I booked the return flight London-Jakarta but they didn't provide the information that there was no check-in baggage.
Mostly, all the long-haul flight have check-in baggage.
There was also no reminder or option to add check-in baggage when I wanted to check out.
When I realized it, they asked me additional 135 GBP. At that time, I was considering it because it was too expensive for me.
The next day, they said the additional checked-in baggage only can be arranged at the same date as purchase date.
I am very disappointed. I have a lot things to bring.
The customer service was also rude to me.
Don't ever book flight from here.
Dear flightcatchers, if you read this. Please help me as I really need the check-in baggage.”
“Misled by Agents Nisar and Muhammad Hasham – Extremely Disappointed - Avoid This Agency
This agency operates in a dodgy and unprofessional manner. A simple two-letter typo in my name — which was clearly their internal error, as I had provided the correct passport name in their official form — resulted in them demanding £180 to fix it.
The first agent I dealt with, Nisar, was dismissive, evasive, and unhelpful. He made no effort to resolve the issue or acknowledge the mistake. After escalating, I received a call from another team member, Muhammad Hasham, who initially promised to resolve the matter — but later returned with a “revised offer” to reduce the charge to £100, as if this was a negotiation. This behaviour is clearly not above board and reflects poorly on their integrity.
This is not an airline restriction — it was a failure in how the agency handled the booking and ignored the correct name I submitted. Blaming policy while offering random discounts to cover their own mistake is unacceptable.
I have reported the case to ATOL and the Civil Aviation Authority and will pursue it through the proper channels. I strongly advise others to avoid this agency and book directly with airlines or trusted providers instead.”
“The issue that I have experienced was: I originally booked China Southern Airlines from London Heathrow to Ho Chi Minh City via Guangzhou for four passengers using Flightcatchers.
The original date of travel was Tuesday 6th May 2025 at 22.10. However, I got a notification that the date of the flight from London Heathrow to Guangzhou was changed to 24 hours earlier to Monday 5th May at 22.10.
However, the connecting flight from Guangzhou to Ho Chi Minh was not changed meaning we had to wait 24 hours in the airport or change the flight. The original connecting flight was CZ367 due to depart Guangzhou for Ho Chi Minh on Wednesday 7th May 2025 at 20.15. Due to the change in schedule we had to move the connecting flight to Tuesday 7th May 2025 at 20.15.
I contacted Flightcatchers and was charged additional admin fees of £23 per person. I had booked for four passengers taking it to a total of £92 pounds. I expressed displeasure in having to pay this admin fee but he said it was the fault of the airline and as the agent they had no control in the matter. He said I would have to contact China Southern Airlines to claim back this fee.
I have since contacted China Southern but they have responded with the following.
We would like to clarify that China Southern Airlines authorized all affected travel agents to process non-voluntary changes or refunds without any airline-imposed fees when we made the schedule change on 6 March. After investigating your case, we can confirm that no fees were charged by our airline for this transaction.
I am now in a situation where China Southern are blaming Flight Catchers and visa versa leaving me out of £92 for an issue which was not my fault.
As a result, I raised a complaint with Flightcatchers for the £92 to be refunded but have been ignored - this was over 2 weeks ago. Very poor customer service and looking to take advantage of customers by charging more where possible.”
“Flight booking was fine but there was an issue when the flight got cancelled. The customer service was very unhelpful and actually charged me to look into it and they didn't solve the problem. Wish I had booked direct or with a reputable company as it's ended up costing me a fortune to fix flightcatchers errors.”
“Beware they are thieves our Turkish Airlines got cancelled in October 2024, they promised within 4-6 weeks after several calls they -Moiz Azeem Waqas Hadi Hasssan Hasham kept promising saying with 2-3 working days we are still awaiting I have all trail of their calls and emails, they are sitting on our money and earning interest where as Turkish Airlines have already paid them, I am seeking advice from citizens advice to escalate to court proceedings
Beware before booking with them”
“Stay away from this company. Terrible customer service. They don't know what they doing. It took us 5 phone calls to resolve an issue with the booking.”
“DO NOT USE (READ THEIR GOOGLE REVIEWS- SCAMMERS)
these boasts a near perfect score on trust pilot and skyscanner, however when you look further you see that they are blatantly scamming people. Cancelling flights, not reutning refunds. I've got evidence of ignoring emails, cancelling flights and not informing me, refusing to give a refund, then offering a partial refund. They only get intouch when you report to trust pilot as this must affect the rating. I hope trust pilot look a little deeper into the company also trading as Panti Travel Ltd, customer service is terrible. They cancelled 1 flight 1 of 4 on us without telling us, then wouldn't let us take the remaining 3 x flights. Then charged us admin fees, they also agree on the recorded call that there terms and conditions are ethical as it gives them excuse to cancel and not refund customers. I would stay clear. I encourage anyone to start the small claims court process as we are. They shouldn't be allowed to perform the way they do. 100% stay clear, we had to re-book all new flights with someone else. We've lost around £500 for doing nothing with this "third party" they have no customer concerns.”
“LIARS - do avoid and don’t trust them!! They will not book what you want, take your money and not even give you time to read the Ts & Cs … I received no less than 10 emails in one day whilst they were on the phone pressuring me to just reply saying all is ok by immediately responding!!
They will not take credit card for this pure reason as they are out to get your money and quote ridiculous charges if you want to make changes or consider cancellation. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE SCAMMERS”
“Have flight booked with them, and received email that one of connections is cancelled and gave me 2 options,
Cancel all trip or rebook and in both cases i need to pay £25
Why? They should rebook me on next flight for free”
“Booked a flight then decided to go the following week instead so booked another flight and cancelled the original flight, they have only gone and cancelled the wrong flight resulting in me having to buy more tickets at a cost of £673, it’s there mistake and I have it all on email and they have offered to compensate me £100 claiming to ‘meet me in the middle’ joke of a company, solicitor can deal with them”
