“I recently purchased a suite of L2 Food Safety for my volunteers and the simplicity and ease of the Highfield website and booking system was great. It was easy to follow and then very easy to enrol my learners onto. Followed up by telephone support to confirm everything was okay was very unique and whilst not needed was well received.
I would recommend Highfield booking system if you want to manage your own learners with background support.”
“Good course once I could access it, but Oh so difficult to navigate the initial 'getting onto the course'. Needed to get help to do this...I am not the best on a computer but have done lots of online courses and have not experienced such a problem before.
However, when I finally could access the course, it was clear, easy to navigate, the information was good, and I enjoyed the animation and interactive elements.”
“I accept that you get what you pay for and that as we all learn differently, you can't cater for all styles. However, that said, for me, it just didn't suit my learning style, at all. Setting aside the general, unappealing look of the package as a whole, particularly the graphics, the worst element for me, was that in some cases, the training info preceding the practical exercises was not clear enough to enable one to answer the questions, nor was there suitable context in the question scenariors. A particular example of this was the drag and drop practical exercise, the one "place the appropriate cleaning items in the marked area" exercise. Again, for me, that needed a lot more in the run up and how to achieve it. I have completed a lot of distant/remote/on-line training, when I was a Quality Manager, responsible for the audit of and maintenance of ISOs 9001, 14001, 18001/45001 and 27001 certification, but I am sorry to say that this was pretty poor.”
“Good course, found the slides easy to follow but found the ready was too slow. When I wanted to read the slides myself I was done much before it would let me move to the next slide.”
“The course is far too slow and takes far too long to complete.
The modules have made me repeat them, despite them saying that I have already passed that module, hence I have still not finished this course.
I have had repeated conversations with admin support - been told that the course is not supported by certain browsers - the courses should be accessible from any computer when they have been paid for. Poor.”
“Never received course apparently you have to have a computer or tablet I don’t so I wanted to do it on my phone and was never received so waste of money”
“The content was useful, however the software/ graphics were terrible and a really poor user experience. An option to speed up the voice recording would be great and the voice over should be opt in/ you shouldn't have to wait for the voice to finish reading before going to the next slide. I'm a fast reader and have ADHD and found it utterly painful. Also the software was really glitchy and half the time didn't work when completeing the exercises.”
