“Paid for first class delivery for an infrared filter but took at least two days so arrived after I had left on a trip when wanted to experiment with infrared film. Ended up using a standard red filter instead”

“In the end, a good experience; I purchased a camera, spare battery and case as a bundle and at a good price. There were issues with the initial ordering process but these were explained and resolved to my satisfaction. The camera came next working day as promised but the case was on back order. A little more communication regarding the progress of the back order would have been very good but once contacted, the items came when fotoSENSE said they would. fotoSENSE will certainly be one of my first go-tos for future purchases and given their typical pricing, I am very likely to buy from them again.”

“I had decided on the flashgun and then looked for a good price from a company I knew. Fotosense came up with the best price and I knew them so I ordered. The item came within the time promised and was well packed. It has been tested briefly (a present so I am not allowed a thorough 'go' of it yet). Everything seemed to work well and the controls are easy to use. I can recommend Fotosense to future purchasers.”

“Camera seems fine probably lots on it I wont get round to using. Very good zoom. the only frustrating thing was, at the age of 81 I was looking round for a manual to learn how to use it, and not having a printer I had to enlist somebody who did have a printer. yours Mr W W Mackett”

“I purchased a new camera bag from fotosense online and I found the experience very easy to do. The delivery of the item was very quick and well packed and on this experience I would definitely buy from them again.”

“Ordered a lumix lens which has limited supply options and Fotosense had best price. Item was shown in stock when I placed order with a suggested 3-5 working day delivery When it had not arrived 6days later, I phoned to query position and was told there was a delay because of bank holiday the previous day, so clearly had not even been dispatched. I was told "it should be with you in the same timescale. When it had still not arrived after that term it was told there was a supply issue. I was given the option to cancel the order or wait, which I decided to do due to the favourable price . It then arrived in 3 days, quicker than suggested.”

“Using the online form I requested that the goods be sent to my son at university, and entered my son's name and address. The confirmation email contained these details. I paid £8 for 'next day before 1pm delivery'. However, the university post room refused to accept the package from Royal Mail because my son's name was not on the label (because they did not know who to hold it for). As it was for my son's birthday on that day, this was extremely annoying but I have given FotoSense five stars because 1). their telephone number is obvious on their website, 2). they were available to talk to immediately on the phone about it, 3). the response was courteous and understanding, 3). they made the effort to find out that the package had been returned to the sorting office and that it could be collected from there the same afternoon, and told me where the sorting office was (fortunately, it was only a short walk from my son's digs), 4). they agreed immediately and without question to refund the £8 postage fee (the refusal was timed at 1.45pm (ie it did not arrive by 1pm) and even if it had been my son could not have received it by 1pm as he had to go and collect it). Hopefully, Fotosense will alter their software so that in future labels on packages not being sent to the purchaser include the recipient's name. Maybe they will respond to this post to say that they have. But until then, purchasers might like to bear this in mind before placing an order to be sent to someone other than themselves.”

“Very impressed with customer service. I live on the Isle of Man and I was able to ask lots of questions regarding the two pairs of binoculars I was interested in by phone, which was really helpful. They arrived within three days (free p & p) - not bad for IOM !! I was then able to compare them and return one for a full refund. Their prices are the lowest I have found for the ranges I was looking at. I will definitely be using them again in the future.”
