“Excellent selection of yoghurt starters. I initially used the french yoghurt starter which is deliciously mild creamy and thick. Unfortunately my partner turned the yoghurt maker off, I rescued it but the resulting yoghurt was strong and didn’t keep. I’ve since used the Skyr which is lovely, again creamy and thick. I use full cream long life milk as it saves scalding the milk prior to adding the yogurt starter or leftover from previous batch. Very pleased with products.”

“I purchased a sachet of Bulgarian yoghurt and have made it up. It is lovely yogurt which I intend to make continuously. The last batch had got contaminated and began to have a yeasty flavour so I decided to start again.”

“I ordered some sourdough starter and water kefir grains. They arrived well packaged and have had no problem getting them going. I really liked and appreciated the fact the sourdough’s heritage is known in some of their starters. I’ll certainly be a repeat customer and have signposted friends to their site too.”

“Excellent company, with good competitive prices. I’ve bought both the milk kefir and water kefir grains and had no trouble fermenting them, following the instructions on the website. My milk kefir grains multiplied so well, I’ve frozen some for future use. The water kefir grains look healthy and and clear. I’d have no hesitation buying from Freshly Fermented again, although I don’t think I’ll be needing grains any time soon!”

“Recommended mail order for sourdough and kombucha ingredients I have bought flour, sourdough starter, kombucha scoby, jun scoby, various teas and honey. All works well as do their recipes (both for the no knead sourdough and the San Francisco sourdough). Delivery is fast and reliable, quality is excellent and I will be ordering more in the future. Highly recommended”

“The grains needed reviving after their time in the postal system and now look very healthy. The kefir is thin but I’m hoping it will thicken up as the grains get used to their new hone.”

“Used FF for the first time to get some Kefir grains and a Scoby. Everything arrived as planned and more importantly it all worked. Am now enjoying drinking my kefir and kombucha. Clear and helpful instructions on what to do and where I wanted to add something to my order really quick and friendly customer support meant it was arranged straight away. Strongly recommend”
