Ordered heating oil no problems in January. Tanker was short so was due a refund. Nothing went into my account and there was no credit. Now 25 March want to order again and website says my area isn't covered. Tried to contact via online form but just keeps coming up error. There is no telephone number to phone them either. Shame as a) they owe me a refund and b) bought through them twice and they were the best price. Must admit the last order supplier was chasing me for the money when I had already paid fuel fighter. - HAS THIS FIRM GONE BUST?????

This is the second time Chandlers have not delivered on time. I know that the weather was poor, but I ordered so well in advance and we all had plenty of notice of the bad weather that was coming. I feel it was very poor planning and Chandlers need to improve their service to customers before I will be ordering again.

The delivery was late I had to ring them up they said they had problems with the lorry a phone call would of been nice but I had tho call them to find it out

I paid for expedited delivery as i was low on oil. No communication from Fuelfighter and no delivery. I phoned to chase and was told it would arrive the next day. It didn't and with no word from Fuelfighter i chased again. I wastold it would arrive the following day. Again no word and no oil. Monday no communication from Fuelfighter AGAIN so i called them AGAIN. I was told by Lisa that the oil was on for delivery that day but if it would arrive if it does and wouldn't if it doesnt. WCF Chandler don't know when their lorries go or what time they work. I asked if they could keep me informed to give me time to get some emergency barrels if the delivery wasn't coming that day. I was told no as there was no possible way to communicate with the driver. I waited all day until 4:45pm and still no oil So i called them again. I was told it would likely arrive but what a surprise, it didn't. Called agsin to be told it would come tomorrow (today). I asked if our drop coukd be first as they kept missing us. I phoned this morning to check the delivery was on route to be told it isn't comming until tomorrow. WTF WCF Fuels? Really? My advise; avoid Fuwlfighters, avoid Chandlers and avoid WCF if you need a reliable delivery!

Not delivered within 10 days. Fuelfighters don't respond to emails. Checked the price and didn't appear to be getting the 1p p/l off that as a member I was expecting.

Ordered a next day delivery because we had run out of oil in freezing weather. Paid premium rate for it and they failed to deliver. Had to wait another day for delivery. Asked for a refund as they failed to deliver within the promised time frame - said they would reduce the charge to a three-day rate and give a refund. No refund received. Their excuse was a lorry broke down but I suspect they had too many orders in which case they should have owned up and we could have got the oil elsewhere.

was given a latest delivery date at time of order, rang about 5 days before the end date and was told everything was in order for delivery. Rang on last given day when oil had still not arrived to be told that order couldn't be found and wouldn't be delivered as promised. Was then rung back and told lorry had broken down ! - sounded like a very lame excuse. Fuel was delivered a day late ( bearing in mind this was 15 days from order). If I hadn't rung I'm convinced the oil wouldn't of arrived at all ! Interestingly there is another review of the same company ( Chandlers) saying pretty much the same thing a few days earlier. would be nervous of using this service again as we were very low on oil by the time the delivery was made.

was quoted 3 weeks for delivery , wanted to change it , called WCF , they told me to contact you . e-mailed a week before christmas and you did not respond

Hello We are sorry you felt that you needed to leave a 1 star review. Our longest quoted window is 10 working days (2 weeks) but there are the options of 5, 3 and next working day available for you to choose if you require a quicker delivery. Our suppliers have to prioritise orders during busy periods based on the delivery window selected to be fair to all customers, in this instance your order was delivered 5 days before the latest delivery date. WAITED IN ALL DAY. Rang through at 4.00pm to see if we were still getting a delivery. Receptionist eventually found that the driver had returned to the depot and we would not receive delivery until the following day. We had waited in all day instead of visiting an elderly sick relative. POOR COMMUNICATION. Used you many times but will now re-consider in future. It made me feel like cancelling, but you have the upper hand with having the credit card paym,ent details in advance.

Very disappointing. We have used Fuelfighter in the past and have been very happy with the service. However this time our oil was not delivered by/on the designated day. It was ordered well in advance. We had to phone the supplier to chase and was informed that the delivery had been missed due to an administrative error!! Would it have been picked up had we not phoned them? They were very apologetic and the oil was delivered the next day. Will reconsider before buying from them again!

Asked that they let us know the day before delivery - this didn't happen so the oil had to be taken back as I was at work and the premises were locked. When they returned - I had requested 1000l but they could only fit 882l into the tank. Haven't had a refund. Spoke to Chandlers who took the money from my bank account and they stated it was nothing to do with them and to contact Fuelfighter. I email Fuelfighter who have not responded - (a few weeks now) - so VERY POOR SERVICE and I would not recommend.

Hello Mr Swepstone. I want to apologise for the inconvenience that has been caused. I have looked in to your comments and found that I replied to your initial email on 6/9/17 to say that there was an error on the quantity confirmed and that this had been rectified meaning that your refund would be processed. Unfortunately this refund didn't complete on Sagepay and I have now confirmed that this has been processed and will be with you within the next couple of working days. Again I apologise for the inconvenience and the poor service you have received, please understand that this is not normal for Fuelfighter and we hope that you will consider using us again in the future.

It is all very well sending me an email reminding me to buy, but you have refused, on access grounds, to deliver here - after doing so for many, many years, so what's the point ? Yours in disappointment. Fortunately, other firms are happy to deliver. Bernard Everitt

Hello Mr Everitt, I am so very sorry that you feel disappointed and I am glad you have brought this to our attention. I have spoken to the supplier for your area and established that although they have delivered to you in the past the last delivery was aborted due to the amount of overgrown trees/foliage blocking the access. As a company dealing with highly flammable and toxic substances we have a duty of care on each delivery and our drivers undergo strict training to assess any risks involved during each delivery. The last thing we would want is a major spillage or damage caused to your property while delivering. Usually, in this sort of instance, we would return on a smaller vehicle but unfortunately we do not have a 4 wheeler vehicle that covers your area.
