Purchased Piccolo Corner Sofa in May 2019 - now to my regret -Two issues with the sofa which have been examined by their appointed sub contractor yet still no action despite three visits and umpteen phone calls which they never respond to. FV hope by not calling back and on my visits making promises they do not intend to keep it will go away. Even if one issue is the failure to fit an item that I have paid for. Only option is to go through legal action.

Well typical sales staff in the Hull Store only interested if your parting with your money. I was left to walk the full store (clearly they didn’t think I could afford anything as I was in my decorating clothes). I was in the store maybe 15 minutes before I was spoken too. Male and female staff sat at desk catching up on what seemed to be an amusing conversation. Then when I was spoken too the girl had to apologise she couldn’t help as didn’t work in sales, although I did appreciate the only communication I received and the girl was very pleasant she was just wasting her time. I have since gone on to order online and although I didn’t want to due to the Hull Store I fell in love with the sofa. I have called the store 4x to give my feedback but I never get a return call. Well furniture village it’s us little people that keep you in business.

Don't buy from this company they are corporate thieves. Sell things for extortionate amounts of money and give you no after care after only 4 months of use when things go wrong 😡 They send out so called independent technicians to review complaints but always are held in the favour of FV. Did not expect a £3000 sofa to become unusable within 4 months use of 2 average weight adults. Spoke to FV customer services (Hannah Ledingham) who basically has washed her hands of the situation due to company policy. Lets see if they wash their hands when I involve a solicitor or maybe even BBC Watchdog. One very angry never to use FV again customer.

Re. After my review of yesterday I had a prompt reply from Furniture Village. My furniture is to be delivered next week, dead on the 9 weeks estimation. This is the second time I have purchased from them and would definitely recommend them. Shame their phone system was on the blink when I tried to call. Will never buy from Furniture Village again! Bought a new bed frame and mattress from furniture village in October for nearly £2000. Followed all the guidelines but 7 months later found mould on the underside of the mattress. Contacted furniture village who said it must be my fault and have offered no replacement or even as explanation as to how this has happened. Substandard products and awful after sales service. Will not be back and advise anyone to avoid buying from furniture village.

We purchased a Parker Knoll large sofa and armchair from Furniture Village, Jason and Katie gave an excellent quality service, very knowledgeable about the product we bought. Small problem with the chair but it has been resolved thanks to Katie, I would highly recommend Furniture Village and the service we received.

Very poor customer service - sub standard furniture. I bought a bed for £600 of this company in 2016. A year later the centre part of the bed has broken off and the decorative finials/knobs have come away from their fittings and they claim conveniently it is not a manufacturing fault and is not covered under guarantee. I would never buy anything from this company again. Homeserve their service company was a complete waste of time. The technician Stephen Wilson lied in his report that he explained his findings in full. These cowboys are a complete waste of time, use at your peril.

Awful customer service, systemic delivery problems and nobody at FV appears to care! First our dining table is delivered to wrong warehouse, 3 weeks later same happens to our sofa. Left multiple messages on the delivery lines, they claim they will ring you back, this has never happens so this morning we visited the store fire an update - awful customer service, will not be shopping here again

Don't trust anything they tell you on delivery. No one cares once you purchase, wrong warehouse delivery twice ! No one calls back, had to visit store to query what's gone wrong..a VERY SAD STATE...

Ordered a suite from Furniture Village South Ruislip, when it was delivered it was not right, so went back to Furniture Village to see what they would do about it, I was expecting having dealt with similar retailers in the past the usual argument and refusal to help, however the response I got from the store manager Yatin could not have proved me more wrong. He worked extremely hard and professionally to resolve the issue and in the end we chose a different suite which is great. Because of my experience I will always make Furniture Village my first stop for furnishings and would recommend the store to others.

All smiles and happy faces before you order but afterwards they don’t want to know, after care non existent. Don’t do what they say they’re going to do, don’t call you back when they say they’re going to call you back. This is all before an item has even been delivered, I dread to think what it’ll be like if there’s a problem with the actual item. Social media a waste of time as they’ll just tell you to call the branch, good luck getting them to answer the phone. Avoid.

just thrown out a sofa that was £1100 ,three years old but was knackered after 3 months . it was delivered damaged and by the time the replacement came it was obvious it was not going to last very long . foam is poor quality and collapsed after a few weeks , coating started to peel (it was supposed to be semi aniline ) . awful company to deal with i would never buy off them again. i don't even think it was real leather all over .

Furniture arrived after the date quoted and when unpacked it was faulty. No apology and still no technician visit to repair job. Confusion as to money paid and full bill for item never received. They are a very slippery company and will never deal with the Hove branch again.

Following on from my bad review of the shoddy service I received from Homeserves. I now should amend and leave a positive review. I went into Furniture Village Hill this morning and they explained about their Phone problems and could empathise. The manager was brilliant he listened to my problems took on board my dissatisfaction and the problems. He is going to look at the problems and get a second opinion that won't involved homeserve. Oh and Hannah on messenger was also amazing in getti g me the report from Honeserve

My unit is 9 months old and the springs are showing through the back arranged a visit today from useless home serve. The technician took one photo then went to his van rang Alan his regional manager whom said it was not a manufacturer problem just the material settling down! Left an ansaphone message for furniture village to ring me on a 2hr call back at 12 09 messaged the head office and received a reply 16.20 to say the administrator was on her way home!! Next stop the furniture ombudsman

So annoyed and disappointed with Furniture Village (FV) ; Paid £3700; had furniture c8months; seats collapsing; leather coming away from controls +; Customer Service ineffective & fixated on re-dressing issues from the start without looking at photos or reading concerns. Directed FV to issues with two seater sofa and chair; FV sent out man just to deal with settee and not chair {despite saying to the contrary}. Man did report on chair and identified issues, which FV have ignored. Even complaint to CEO was not acknowledged. Will never use again. It’s curious how furniture displayed in shops appears to have more padding 🧐

Awful customer care . Bought comfort range sofa and chairs . So uncomfortable ! Told to give it a couple of months, given it three still awful. Nothing can be done apparently £2400 down the drain. How can they get away with this?

ORDERED TWIST COFFEE TABLE THAT WOULD MATCH SIDE TABLE WE ALREADY HAVE. THE TABLE THAT THEY SENT DOES NOT MATCH THE PICTURE ON THEIR WEBSITE CONTACTED THEM TO STATE THIS BUT ALL WE GOT WAS THAT THEY WOULD ACCEPT IT BACK MINUS A £75 DEDUCTION FOR COLLECTION. IT ALSO ARRIVED PLAT PACK WHICH WAS NOT IN THE DESCRIPTION OR WHAT WE PAID FOR EXPECT FULLY ASSEMBLED AT THE COST THEY CHARGED. AVOID

We ordered two cream leather sofas which are recliners. The leather on them is different shades and we were told they were being replaced at the beginning of May. Not heard a thing and no call backs when we left a message!! Customer service is appalling.

I googled something different and am seeing furniture village get a hammering on here. My family have used furniture village a lot and we have never had a bad experience. They always delivered in time and the sofas are the best we could find for the value
