“The store was very responsive; however, I had to pay €131 (in addition to shipping costs) for customs clearance fees, which I find excessive. These FedEx fees were not mentioned during my purchase.”

Hi Jerome, Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear the service was responsive, though we’re sorry for the frustration caused by the customs charges on delivery. For orders shipped to Europe, UK VAT is not charged at checkout, and local VAT and any customs or clearance fees are applied by the destination country once the parcel arrives. We do outline this on our shipping page and in our terms and conditions, but we appreciate that these charges can still come as an unwelcome surprise. We’re sorry for the inconvenience this caused and thank you for your understanding. Your comments are appreciated and help highlight where we can communicate this more clearly.
