Twice to believing the issue , was dealt with But blamed their Colleagues For misleading me as one was new and one Did not work there anymore I have tried Numerous times to contact them And they have not got back to me I also provided them of where they can get legal information on consumer rights as a simple , google search will provide you with much information And A company has no right to withhold your money once They have Promise to refund And in my situation they have promised Not once , but twice that the issue was dealt with First replacement and then a full refund It also confirms that it is illegal For a company to mislead consumer Which I was unaware of When When they first told me , I had been misled As it altered my decision And claiming my money back through other means (Paypal bank etc) As it was faulty I Am now having to go through the correct authorities to claim my money back As they Will not respond to my emails or phone calls.

I wanted to express my sheer disappointment of my experience with your company. Firstly, I had to email and call on a number of occasions to get an update on a delivery date, we had already been waiting 6 weeks. We were told delivery would be between 1-6 weeks, we had no communication or updates after paying in full for the summerhouse. I was eventually told the delivery would take place on the 8th November. I booked time off work to accept the delivery, only to be emailed on the night of the 6th, around 9:30pm, to say it was being delivered the 7th. This caused a great deal of stress as I needed to rush home from work to be in for the delivery. Secondly, upon erecting and fixing the summerhouse into place, we notice a lot of shoddy piece of wood. Quite a few have holes in and a number had been cut too short/ at the wrong angles. The screws supplied were also just all mixed together and there wasn’t enough of a certain type, which meant we had to purchase more. The wood was also all labelled up wrong, this caused a significant amount of time to be added to the building process. I am extremely upset and disappointed with the whole process. We are having to purchase more materials to ensure that the summerhouse is water tight and is fit for purpose. I feel that because I have contacted regarding delivery etc, you have just rushed the order through with no regard to the quality of the products you are sending. How some of the pieces of wood passed quality control I will never understand. I can categorically say I will not be advising anyone that asks, to use your company. I am bitterly disappointed by all aspects.

Like everyone else on here I have been extremely disappointed, frustrated and now angry with this company. First with the customer service and once the summer house arrived ( well most of it) with the quality of the product. I waited 12 weeks for it to be delivered after paying up front when the time given was four to six weeks. The website is set up in such a way it is impossible to get through to anyone. They only ever respond with a generic email stating they have received yours. After eventually finding a way to actually speak to someone on the phone I waited well over 30 minutes (twice) only to speak to someone who knew nothing about the product and could only pass my complaint on. -The floor is so weak I have had to buy additional material to make it steadfast. -The “glazing - when it arrived after an additional three weeks is flimsy Perspex, not fit for purpose; especially on full length doors. -They sent the wrong size screws, -two odd door handles; one black one silver and both different sizes. - There were no long handles/ levers to open the windows. - screws in the door frames which need to be loosened in order to fit around the wooden planks are completely rusty. Some of the wood was extremely warped. -The instructions are extremely poor. So much so that hours have been wasted just trying to understand what to do. This has cost me money as I am employing a builder to do construct this. -When the delivery arrived the technical instructions were missing along with the list of items that should have been delivered so it was impossible to identify what should have been there. I eventually spoke to a lady who emailed me the list. -When the glazing was eventually delivered they still missed off the delivery all the other missing parts. I am still waiting for them! The cost of the extra support for the floor, the glass which is needed as the Perspex is so poor and the screws and other missing parts has cost me another £400. The cost of employing a builder to rectify all the issues along the way runs into several hundreds of £s. If you did buy from them add at least another £1000 to the price in order to get it up successfully. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They are shocking.

They are shocking, ordered a shed in August 2024, cancelled it twice due to long wait. Emailed twice, still no refund. I have MS and undergoing chemo. This morning I was shouted at. I asked him to stop and he put the phone down on me. I will never trade with them again. Take my advice and stay away.

I have been told lies and given false information about when a product would be ready despite taking full payment. They have continually told us that the product is either going into or is in pressure treatment, with the truth I think that it has not been started.

Stay away from this company I would recommend people to stay well away from this company. One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. What you get when you purchase from Garden Buildings Direct: - 10-week lead time when the website said 3-4 weeks. - Order dispatch email with a delivery date, but no delivery actually arriving. I had to take four days off work unpaid in total waiting for deliveries that never arrived. - My shed eventually showed up more than 3 weeks after receiving an order dispatched email and 11 weeks from order confirmation. - Radio silence from customer services for weeks and generic copy and paste responses that never actually answer your question when you do eventually get a response. - Unable to contact via telephone. Voice message says log in to your online account for all the answers. Guess what. There are no answers there. - You will have to contact the third-party courier yourself as they cannot be bothered. - Bowed wooden parts as the shed is stored upright rather than flat.

Avoid this company like the plague. Having seen the justified negativity reviews here and elsewhere, am sure Tony Soprano runs GBD for money laundering purposes. They are a waste of space and shouldn't be allowed to trade. 14 week wait and once unpacked, parts missing including windows. Sounds familiar eh? I suggest filing a complaint with Nottinghamshire CC Trading Standards and writing to BBC watchdog. We'll be doing that if they don't refund or speedily replace the missing parts. Oh and emailing their founder CEO is a waste of time, as he never replied, surprise, surprise!!

Absolute bunch of clowns. We ordered in May for a summer project. Arrived last week of August. You need to be a carpenter to correct the poor workmanship. The glazing for our greenhouse doors was the wrong size, after weeks of trying to contact them they finally sent replacements, (now mid September), and still the wrong size. I've now payed a carpenter to trim the doors to make the glazing fit. They still haven't responded to our messages. Con men or incompenent?

Ordered shed on 27th June. Its now 29th september. No news, no point logging in as it just says in production-it has stated this since i ordered it. Customer services is a joke. Apparantly they are still awaiting parts - its a wooden shed!!!! Really poor service The shed was delivered no problem. This was the only part that went ok, maybe because they had nothing to do with it. It is poorly made. The nails holding the slats in place were not put in properly so we had to repair ourselves. After waiting 10 weeks for delivery i was not prepared to wait further for replacement parts with the rest of the parts left in the elements. NEVER BUY A SHED FROM HERE

Do Not Buy From Garden Buildings Direct Summer house did not arrive so I tried to cancel and asked for a refund - over 20 emails on their website and no reply at all. Called them (clearly abroad) and told only the cancellation team can do the refund who would call ….. guess what they never did ! Called again and they refused to give me the cancellation teams contact details to speed things up (let’s be honest the cancellation team simply does not exist!) They wouldn’t tell me which country they are in … they couldn’t even tell me where they are supposed to be located in the UK .. just kept reading the address in Worksop (poorly and mispronounced). They are still not returning emails or contacting me. I am now going through my credit card company to try to get my money back. I WISH I HAS READ THESE REVIEWS BEFORE BUYING FROM THEM ….. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS FAKE COMPANY… THEY LIE / WITHHOLD FUNDS / WONT CALL YOU BACK OR ANSWER EMAILS / OR TELL YOU WHAT COUNTRY THEY ARE IN “ DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY”

Currently taking to court after numerous issues with quality, windows fell down cheap perspex, sent numerous emails inc pics of water pouring in from rain. Panels warped with only an offer to replace parts. Means I need to pay to dismantle it and re build after a few months I don't think so.

Absolutely appalling customer service Absolutely appalling customer service. Multiple calls to try and sort a delivery of a shed. Call handler hung twice with no reason or explanation. Each time you call you get a different tale. Complaints service is just as poor bland meaningless responses. Thought I had a solution on 5th September for delivery by 13th or 16th September. Told today this may not be the case. Promised a call back from a manager this never happened. Spent further time on the phone following lack of phone call. When you call and ask to speak with a manager you are told either they won't tell you anything different or no one is available. I have now spoken with a manager and this wasn't terribly helpful either. I have been trying since 19th August to get a delivery date from them - no joy. Product needs to be with me by 16th September. Company needs to sort out their customer care - customer does all the chasing. To date a terrible experience. Either incompetent or a scam, bought a shed 5 weeks later requested an update on delivery (there policy says delivery in 1 month) no reply, 2 weeks later sent another message, no reply. Only managed to get a response from them after sent a email threatening to cancel order only to get generic sorry for your inconvenience your product is in production. Requested a cancellation and a refund after another 2 weeks and 1 month later I finally have a refund, but only after going through paypal arbitration. If you have a masochistic desire too send an endless stream of emails and get nothing but infuriating responses back then this is the company for you Everyone else AVOID!!

I ordered three mini greenhouses and had parts missing. I tried ringing them twice but they don't answer the phone. I tried emailing them but they ignored it so now one of the greenhouses is useless. Don't order from they, they obviously don't give a damn about their customers.

Terrible company wish I had seen these reviews before ordering. Delivery wasn’t on the day stated the delivery window is 6am-9pm so wasted a whole day. Then they said it would be delivered between two days, I moaned and they said it would be delivered that day and I would be notified a hour beforehand. Went out and the driver arrived, no notification, luckily my partner was working from home so made him wait. The corner summerhouse like others have said is not quality at all, the door was broken, one bit of wood broken and they just glued it together. When nailing window blocks in the supports break off so have to be reinforced. The roof was too small so had to buy more wood to make it bigger as well as reinforcing the floor. The roof is now bowing as you’re given the flimsiest bit of wood as support. I’ve emailed customer service about 4 times now and just been ignored. Customer service is terrible and pretty much non-existent. Although when spending your money they’re all over you like a rash. Paid through PayPal so have now opened a dispute with them, they’ve now tried to get trust pilot reviews up so worth putting reviews on there also.
