BEWARE - RIP OFF COMPANY THAT APPEAR TO HAVE CEASED TRADING!!!!!!!! IF YOU HAVE PLACED AN ORDER WITH 'Gardening Express', YOU SHOULD CONTACT YOUR PAYMENT CARD PROVIDER NOW AND DEMAND A FULL REFUND!!!!!!!!! = This company are still taking customers money but are not supplying any products!!!!! They ignore all emails and their so-called 'Ticket System' is switched off!!! Order placed 18 days ago and not a single email, message, call or anything from them about my order. TRADING STANDARDS HAVE NOW BEEN ALERTED TO THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!! It looks as though they could be a company that is going to go bust becuase of the Virus... but are still taking customers money!!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AS YOU ARE LIKELY TO GET RIPPED-OFF AND NEVER GET A REFUND!!!!! THEY PUBLISH A DAILY TWITTER advert but do not reply to any of their customers!!!!!!!! AVOID - OR RISK NEVER GETTING YOUR MONEY BACK!!!!! PLENTY OF OTHER TRUSTWORTHY COMPANIES OUT THERE... UNLIKE THIS ONE!!!!! I HAVE ASKED FOR A REFUND MANY TIMES BUT THEY JUST KEEP IGNORING ME!!!! NO PHONE NUMBER OR EMAIL ADDRESS ON WEBSITE AND THE TICKET SYSTEM IS NOW SWITHCED OFF!!!!

Very worried after reading comments on some review sites. I've spent over £50 on bedding plants. I have raised beds empty waiting to be filled. After 1 week my order is not even at the picking stage. Eventhough, we are in a crisis situation I thought as they are taking orders they'd do all they can to move orders along. I'd rather of spent a day queuing to get into B&Q now. Spent my money and walked out with my plants. I've also seen their a nightmare to contact too. Just hope when I finally get my plants they were going worth the wait and the money.

I ordered two patio peach trees, one of which arrived today (late April) and should be in leaf. What actually arrived was a completely dead specimen. The twigs were brittle and the buds were shriveled. How any packer would mistake this for a living specimen evades me. From checking review sites (after the event) that, it seems that this is far from unusual - and to rub salt into the wound, these reports also state that their customer support is non existent as are refunds, so I'll guess I'll have to bite the bullet and take the loss. I have no great hope for the second patio peach tree and will try and source decent specimens elsewhere. An expensive lesson in ALWAYS checking reviews on different sites - how they get over 50% on Trust Pilot site evades me - I shouldn't be suprized if they spend the time they save by conning people into buying dead plants to write fake reviews! Hopefully, someone will read this review and avoid Gardening Express like the plague. I will certainly never use them again.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SUPPLIER! Recently ordered two pink Cordylines which were on special offer. When we received them, they were in a dreadful condition and were all but dead. All the leaves were brown and dead from the tips almost to the stem of the plants. We started to cut the dead/diseased leaves off, and then realised that there would be no plant left. I have tried to raise a ticket on their website but seem unable to. We would strongly advised not to buy from them.

2 out of 4 plants I ordered were dreadful. One almost dead and the other a twig . Both should have been in 2-3 litre pots indicating well established plants but mine arrived in pots less than half a litre. Customer services non apologetic and patronising and in bold font told me my plants were healthy etc despite sending them photos as requested and advised pot sizes vary ! No refund, (which I am entitled to) until I can return the plants which will be god knows when due to current travel restrictions due to Corona. What a waste of my pension money. Do not use this company is my advice. It appears that they do not take on board the other complaints in order to improve their service.

Bought two camelias. Wrong variety sent and one was dying. It has never come to life. Sent pics and got no reply. Also took nearly 3 weeks to arrive. Express??

Two of my plants half dead and absolutely not as described, one damaged and one completely dead. Figured I can salvage the others but messaged about the (definitely) dead one and they say its alive and covered by a 5 year guarantee which basically translates to if I pay to have the plant returned (would be almost as much as the plant) they would replace it... Won't use again. Even the live plants were poor condition.

I was disappointed with the quality of the Michelia Magnolia Fairy White which had obviously had it's main stem snapped off before dispatch, had few leaves for an evergreen on a straggly bare stem with a some sickly yellowish/green leaves on the end, some of which had insect damage.. Very poor quality for £14.97. No one would have bought it at a garden centre. Their response to my complaint with photos? "I can assure you that your Magnolia is very much alive...." So, beware, being alive is the Gardening Express plant quality standard! Avoid.

Not quite what to expect from a website that has such wonderful pictures of plants and shrubs. Unfortunately, the heathers were mostly dead and the wisteria for that price, was so tiny! The box was not even packed properly. I have written a few times on their feedback form but have had no replies. I have used various plant nurseries but this is about the least impressive I have ever come across.

Ordered a pair of Tuscan Cypress trees. On unpacking one was damaged, in that the leader branch was broken. Immediately emailed Gardeningexpress with pictures, took a week for them to reply (after I chased them) to be told that there was no detrimental damage. Having stated that I was unhappy with this I was told to return them at my cost to get a refund, when all they had to do was send a replacement tree. Rest assured I will not use them again and would strongly advise against anyone else using them.

Very poor customer service and product quality. The shrub I ordered arrived in a damaged package and the plant was bone dry and dead. Leaves were brown. After many e mails, photos etc, the basic response I got was to plant the shrub and wait for its recovery and if it did not, them they have a warranty arrangement. Why would I go through all that hassle. I would not recommend this company

BEWARE! Poor quality plants and even poorer quality service. This is a budget company without the standard service we are used to and should be able to expect. Delivery took way longer than should have. Plants have died despite being planted and maintained by a professional gardener. Generic and delayed responses which do nothing towards taking any responsibility . My sister placed a separate order and has had to return everything. Do not accept anything other than the quality advertised otherwise you will get any service from them thereafter. I will never use them again.

01245 442511 Gardening express support@gardeningexpress.freshdesk.com Awful experience with gardening express. I received either damaged, yellow, dead, dying or infected plants. This is by far the worst online gardening company out there and I used a lot of them. I managed to secure about a refund of around a quarter of my order on the above numbers. Then my case was closed and I was left with these unhealthy & dead plants! Stay well clear of gardening express I do not know how they haven’t been shut down!

Plants arrived broken and damaged. Grasses had been celotaped to the black plastic wrappings. Some plants were sealed in black plastic wrappings I've sent over 30 photos of the dying damaged plants and pots and after 3 weeks got an email to say not enough evidence and to photograph the plants out of their pots. 3 weeks on and the plants are dead and waiting for the bin. No communication, complete rip off company. I've referred my problem to trading standards as goods faulty abd no one attempting to rectify.
