“Terrible customer service, case handler is absolutely rubbish, no response or letters as promised. I have been past from pillar to post. They had forgotten about my claim and are now trying to pursue the cost from the third party almost 2 years later. Avoid at all cost!!!!”

“This is the worst customer experience I've ever had. I cannot believe this company is still trading. Clearly the employees of this company are trained to lie and deceive people and do everything they can to avoid paying out on claims. I am owed £400 by AXA and almost 18 months on I am still waiting on the money. They do not even bother replying to the Financial Ombudsman.

“They do not call you back when they say they will, still waiting to get my sons car back on road since mid Dec 2019 but they are happy to take £1200 for his premium, they also take well over an hour sometimes to answer the phone my average wait is 43 minutes. Shocking keep well from them”

Someone used me to stop 3 weeks ago, so non fault. Not heard a thing since i reported it, must have spent 15hrs of my life to date trying to speak to people, i have supplied all information to date, not bothered chasing the other party, not bothered getting my car looked at and not bothered getting my injuries sorted either, if your rich, great you pay for everything and then they will reimburse you when or if they can be bothered to do anything”
“A complicated , too many ‘Get out clauses ‘. Too interested in getting your complaint heard but not interested in giving a fair and transparent service. For £90 a month I expect far better. Do not recommend.”
“I had health insurance through my work with Axa. When I tried to get seen by a specialist they just kept sending more paperwork to be completed by the GP which cost me £40 each time. After the 3rd lot of paperwork the GP advised that Axa never pay out unless you have an MHD policy. (Medical History Disregard.) This means that even if you have never suffered from something before, because you cannot ever actually prove that, the medical insurance is useless without MHD. I have cancelled my policy and saved the tax from this useless 'benefit'!”
“No option to go lower than one star. DO NOT BOTHER. Quick to take your money but when trying to get hold of claims department be prepared to wait over an hour and when you finally think you’ve got through they hang up!!”

They ask for all kinds of docs to submit but in the end, they would not pay by say it's not included in the policy. So basically every single CS doesn't know what they are doing.”
“What went wrong everything from calling in October 2019 till this day still trying to avoid paying out, coming back with offers a 3rd of the quotes these scammers are a joke why this company still exists I will never know they should be closed down and all money returned to the customers. Take a insurance out with anyone apart from AXA you got more chance getting a reply from a company on the moon, they will avoid paying out, it is a disgusting corrupt company how the MD is still there amazes me with the amount of complaints they receive daily he don't seem to give a dam like the rest of the staff who are very limited with knowledge and looks like TRAINING is a swear word, politeness and caring about customers to get repeat business you will get none of that just some dunce on the phone that can barely speak that's if you wake them

“Given them one star as it doesn't go any lower. If you are a small business stay well clear. AXA and their loss adjusters have one purpose and that is to avoid paying out or limiting your claim. As a small business they assume you will not have the funds to make a legal challenge when they dump you. Don't assume the Financial Ombudsman Service will come to your aid they have no commercial awareness at all although can sort your washing machine claim or ppi claim. Record and photo/video everything and record every conversation.”

People handling case were very rude from the beginning of 1st call.
It took 3 months to here no from them at last they said they close the case because I have withdrawn it.
I feel cheated not because I did not get any claim but because the way they handled it.”

“Two bad experiences is two too many, and that's exactly what we experienced with AXA home insurance. First involved the loss of a ring, which involved long and unpleasant conversations with AXA before receiving the payment which was clearly due to us, the second concerned a claim for storm damage to a fence which one part of the policy says it covers and another says it doesn't. Deliberate or not, it's a sneaky business practice which confirms my view that AXA insurance is not worth having. I have lodged a complaint, but with very little hope of receiving an honest response.”
