“Great live chat, even the virtual assistant answered the question I had about the better driver app and logged the issue to an adviser who then emailed me back the next to let me know what the actual issue was and that they had resolved it for me. Love that rewards are given for good driving and is good to be able to keep track of your own driving aswell”

“Having read some negative reviews of Carrot before insuring with them I was really hesitant but they offered the cheapest quote I could find! Was super easy to set up, no issues getting my black box fitted, have spoken to their customer service team a few times and all issues have been resolved within 5 minutes and if they aren’t then they have been fixed within the following day. Great company, I feel the scoring system on the box is really fair and not really had any negative thoughts so far.”

“Had months of the app not working, finally working properly now however as the company is a third party they cannot explain the costs of changes to policies which is very frustrating”

“Very competitive quote, however trying to contact and provide them with documents is complicated and vague. Never received a certificate of insurance.”

Hi. We do send your documents out via email as soon as the policy starts. Please get in contact with us on the live chat if you need us to send this out to you via email or post. We will also be able to help if you have any issues submitting documents.

“although they offer the best price on most comparison sites, I could not advise anyone more to not go with carrot, the black box policy is so strict and cancelled my policy when they came to fit the box as they said my window tints that came on the car were modifications and they were not declared. as my policy was going to be cancelled I cancelled it myself and got charged a massive fee which I am still paying to this day, customer service phone lines are slow and not helpful and the live chat is just as bad. I would NOT recommend carrot insurance to anybody they have low insurance prices but sting you with high fees for everything else!”
