Awful company!! Sent a letter for excessive spending that they are going to cancel my spending when I know for a fact I drove 27mph saying I was doing 37!! Joke of a company

Don't trust in what they say as they are liars. They have taken all my money and forced me to cancel my policy because I had to change my address. Spoke with the managers and they laughed that I wanted to call lawyers and said they have their own rules. Never even came back for the black box as they are afraid to send someone. Promised me that everything will be fine as I always payed on time and when they told me to cancel I had to pay for another month for the insurance and I never got the deposit back. Please don't accept insurance from them

Seems to be a very common problem and nothing seems to be getting done about it. My black box is just shambolic, I was told that I had no curfew on the box and if I go out after around 10:00PM the useage on my dashboard is -9.36, the estimated miles is terrible as well, I drove to the airport to drop someone off and it's instantly calculated I'm going to be doing that regularly so no matter where I go now my usage rating will drop. Don't even get me started on the customer service, just bunch of puppets and broken records, and that's if you even get through to them. I have been hung up on once or twice because I was questioning what they were saying. They have very poor communication between the box installations and themselves. Was told one thing by the engineer who had to send photos to Carrot, they didn't even try to contact me to tell me what was going on, which was a good thing I rang because my policy had gone into the 7 days of cancellation. Wish I had forked out the extra couple hundred pounds and went with a company with a bit of heart and character. Wouldn't recommend

Wasn't even speeding and now they are saying I have 7 days left of insurance as they are cancelling it for excessive speeding doing 31mph in a 20 zone I have seen to many of these and if Anyone wants to go to trading standards email me and I will send you my email they sent me about speeding!!

Wouldn't even give carrot a star if I had the option. Shocking customer service, prior to getting the box fitted the installation team were telling me one thing and customer service another poor communication between both departments. Every time I rang up I was waiting 45 minutes to get through to someone. Cancelled my insurance without telling me so was driving about with no insurance for 2 days before I found out they'd cancelled.

Carrot seem good at first. We earned a reward in our first quarter but the telematics device does make mistakes, and we ended up haveing the policy cancelled in a pretty summary fashion for minor infringements. I suspect there are no Carrot customers who have had policies for longer than 6 months. Avoid like the plague as you wont get insurance elsewhere oce you have had your policy cancelled.

terrible, only sign up if you've got no other choice, bunch of liars take miles from you so you're forced to buy more. they only care to talk if you have to pay them for something other than that they're not interested

DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY! Bunch of liars, they only want your money. 3 weeks before my insurance is due to end, Carrot decided to cancel my insurance policy because of 'speeding' on 20mhp road by having 31. I seen few reviews on this review site and found over 20 people in last 2-3 months who had the same isssue. You will end up with no claims discount and carrot will fu*k you up only by money! If you had similar situation, I am plaining to report carrot by sending complaints with screenshots of other people, other evidence as well. Bunch of fu*king liars, they are only willing to help you and be kind when you give them money. never go with it.

I started off well with good score however when it comes upto getting rewarded my score would go down. So firstly dont expect any rewards. Secoundly just before my insurance is about to end carrot CANCELs my insurance claiming i was speeding with no evidence other than their black box saying so even though the black box is not accurate as i have checked by recording my own usage the the results being different. Thirdly bad customer service they email me that my insurance may get cancelled and when it does get cancel all they do is send a text message when i called they did not care and said it will get canceled no matter what i say

Please you need to avoid this company at all costs. You will be robbed this company needs reporting think a few people need to get together and take this company to watchdog or trading standards they are ruining the lives of young drivers which is really sad. They need to be stopped.

Do not insure ur car with carrot insurance.they have no customer service wotsoever.it takes at least half an hour each time u ring them to even answer the phone call.to get ur rewards they charge £5 for a new carrot card after ur old one exspires.worst insurance company i have chosen in the last 7 yrs i have been driving

The worst company I've ever come across. My son changed his car with two months remaining on his policy, they charge £150 to cancel early or £170 to have a new box installed BUT didn't record that the box had been fitted (even though it was working) so he had three letters threatening to cancel resulting in three hour long phone calls trying to get through to someone to speak to THEN he was pulled by the police for having no insurance because it wasn't recorded, luckily they accepted a screen shot of his certificate as proof.

Would have more success trying to phone the queen than Carrot. Every call results in a waiting time of at least 30-45 minutes before anyone answers. These will people will rip you off in anyway then can. DO NOT GET HOOKED BECAUSE OF THE CHEAPER PRICE. USE A REPUTABLE INSURANCE COMPANY.

Thieving bastards, go to cancel my insurance and they are charging £400 for me to cancel where it clearly says £150 cancellation fee in the policy documents. Women was also really really rude on the phone omce I got talking to her after waiting on hold for 27 minutes. Totally regret going for this insirance even though it was the cheapest but I would never recommend carrot to anybody. The engineer who fitted the black box in also managed to remove the wiring for my heating sustem so I had to go fork out £40 for a mechanic to sorr that out. I told carrot and they said there's no proof. The cheek on these theiving scum decieves me. Remember with these lot you can always read the small prjnt but they'll still find someone to rip you off on. AVOID AVOID AVOID
