carrot are the best insurance company around I passed my test and got insured on the same day and the lady I spoke to on the phone was really helpful and lovely to speak to I cant thank them a enough with all the help carrot have gave me I have told a few of my mates that have just passed there test to go with carrot cause they are the best insurance company around and really helpful and I will be staying with them for every thanks again carrot.

Fairly reasonable insurance quote for someone my age i havent had any problems getting through as of yet seems to be goin well. Very handy app +!

Even though £2900 is expensive for car insurance, carrot was the cheapest compared to others. The customer service was great, they had called to book an appointment for black box and it was a smooth process

I call up and i am waiting at least 20-30 minutes EVERY TIME, and they still don't answer- everything is just so long with them- rubbish customer service- only with you because you have cheap insurance.

Someone from Carrot phoned me to arrange a date to fit my black box to my car. No one turned up. When I phoned to find out why I was told that no one had phoned me to book this appointment. Emailed them over proof and had no reply. Phoned to cancel and they refused, even in the 14 day cancellation period. Just please avoid this company.

Each time I contacted carrot, I thought they were very professional and also very pleasant and made sure I received the correct help I needed! I would definitely recommend carrot insurance to others.

Thought having a black box was a good idea, but seems to mark me down on anything, for example, I work a variety of shifts at work and some of them mean night shifts, so if I finish at 3 in the morning, I'll do a 10 minute journey home, my speed will be fine and my smoothness will also be a 10 but then I'll get a minus score even though I'm driving responsibility responsibily

First of all I have been with Carrot nearly a year with a black box, when my miles were running low I wanted to top up, they said it would cost £450 for the remaining 5 months. No problem. I called back 2 days later with the idea to top up and they said it would be £675. No chance. They wanted to charge more than £200 extra for calling 2 days later. So it was now cheaper to cancel and re-insure with them, despite the fact I still had to pay a £150 fee to cancel and start with the same company. So a month later I am still waiting for someone to return my call about my new insurance. The communication is poor, the feedback is poor.

Really good insurance company , really helpful. Only down side I've had is I've not went over my miles and my rating is going down for usage which is rather disappointing as other aspects of my driving have been 10/10 and can prove that

What went wrong ?well I have been on the phone half an hour and still no answer I honesty feel like smashing me phone of the wall it's an absolutely joke been passed around to around ten different people ,clearly they haven't a fu**ing clue what to do ,one word useless

Firstly when i reported an incident, they escalated it to a claim without my consent, secondly the staff were not helpful because I kept getting lied to, when trying to close a claim, nobody there knows what they are doing, everyone kept telling me different things, for example one person said the claim would be closed within 1 hour because third party had contacted them, and i called later to confirm and then they asked for proof,I am really frustrated and annoyed because i had confirmed at the time with a member of staff that i wanted to report an incident and not make a claim , they were fine with that and then without my knowledge or permission they opened a claim where i had no knowledge or understanding of this action, i only found out because my insurance finished and i was requesting No Claims Bonus , otherwise i would have never known, i advise nobody to take out an insurance with this company, they are very deceitful and when trying to rectify a mistake, it takes forever, those who may read this, don't make the same mistake I made, just pay a little extra and go with a decent company

Never had a problem with carrot and I've been with them 6 months now, & on top of that they give me money back for driving normally!

I have been with Carrot now for 6 months, insuring myself the day I passed my test. I have since received £34 in my first quarter and have just seen I will receive £33 rewards for my second quarter. £67 back just for driving normally! Very pleased. Don't get me wrong, occasionally I speed but as soon as I realise what I'm doing I slow down and I have yet to be marked down for it. My average driver score is 8.65 and this is easily followable with their fab app. Cheapest insurance quote I had by far and I have not had any problems at all. Would recommend to anyone!
